A lovely set of eight happy stories that will warm your heart and fill you with Holiday spirit. December With a Duke by Collette Cameron Everleigh is a widow who was abused by her later husband and his son. Griffin is an adventurer who wants a mama for his adopted daughter. When they meet at the holiday house party of a friend, there is a strong attraction. Is it possible that a gentle, understanding man and a sweet Christmas angel named Sarah bring Everleigh the hope and love she needs so very much. A heartwarming story and loveable characters (most of them) make this a winner.

have only had the chance to read A December with a Duke by Collette Cameron so far, but will definitely be coming back to read the rest. Ms Cameron's book is a wonderful story of second chances. She has a wonderful, smooth writing style that is so enjoyable to read. Her characters are all well rounded and easy to get to know, even in a shorter story as this.

So far I have read A December with a Duke by Collette Cameron, but I am looking forward to reading the rest of the stories since all the authors are wonderful. Everleigh Chatterton accepts an invitation to a month-long house party where her friend Theadosia has made efforts to help Everleigh move back into Society and eventually marry. Everleigh, having survived a tormented and abusive marriage, has NO desire to ever subject herself to the marriage. Griffin, Duke of Sheffield, is looking for the right woman to be his duchess and mother of his orphan “daughter”, Sarah. Not just any woman will do – she must be special and look beyond what Society sees of Sarah. When Everleigh and Griffin are reacquainted at the party (they met briefly in Collette Cameron’s previous book Only a Duke Would Dare), Griffin is determined to get beyond Everleigh’s chilly exterior. There is a mutual attraction and he is convinced she is the one who could be a wonderful mother for Sarah. Although Everleigh enjoys spending time with Sarah and Griffin, she is far from convinced that marriage is a good idea. Collette Cameron has written a poignant and romantic story about finding one’s way back from the incredible pain in life. Ms. Cameron gives Everleigh the right amount of apprehension yet curiosity about love. The secondary characters add to the depth of the story and leave you wondering if a couple of them will have their own stories in the future. This is the third book in Collette Cameron’s Seductive Scoundrel’s Series. Although some of the characters appear in previous books, this story can easily be read as a stand-alone. She has another winner in A December with a Duke! I truly enjoyed this Christmas-time novella! What better time of year to experience the joy of love?!?

A great collection of books for the holidays. A December with a Duke by Collette Cameron This book has one of my favorite nemesis in it. Caroline Chatterton is one of those characters that you just love to hate. “She lifted a sherry glass to her rouged, smirking lips as she stepped from the shadows where spiders and centipedes and other unpleasant creepy crawlies were wont to loiter.” It is a lovely romance about a woman who has suffered the loss of child. Everleigh is working through deep grief and Cameron gives a spot on account of that journey. Very good book. I was gifted a copy of this book.

Who doesn't love Christmas? Throw in a Rogue and it makes it ever better! A swoon worthy collection of previously published books by eight amazing authors that will keep you entertained for hours!! A December With a Duke by Collette Cameron If you love romantic regency stories, there is none better than Collette Cameron to satisfy you with every word she writes in this wonderful novella. A delightful heartwarming romance that bring two people together, during a month long house party to celebrate the holidays. Everleigh, the heroine (don't you just love that name?) was a widow who had sworn off marrying again due to the terrible treatment from her deceased husband and his son. Having endured and lost so much, she had sworn off men and had no plans to remarry. On the other hand, Griffin, the Duke of Sheffield wanted to marry to have a mother for his adopted daughter. As he meets the beautiful widow there is a strong attraction and he woos her to try to change her mind on marrying again. I truly adored these two characters and his daughter Sarah just melted my heart. The magic of the season prevails in this heartwarming story of love found when least expected! PS. You need to look at the cover of this individual book by Collette. It's her! I also listen to the audible book and wow, it is amazing! Claiming a Christmas Wallflower by Tammy Andresen It started as a wager, but turned into so much more. He was suppose to just get a kiss to win but when he met Amelia, all bets were off. A wallflower, a bluestocking and a beautiful girl, Amelia kept into the shadows with her best friend Ethel. She tried to ignore her mother who really wanted her to make a match with a titled gentleman. Attending a Christmastide house party together, she was stunned that Will, so wonderfully handsome asked her to dance!! When I started this story I had no idea how delightful it would be and could not put it down until I finished! The fast build of emotions between the two could only bring a smile to my heart. Do not miss this Christmas story that Tammy Andresen, as always, pulls the reader in by her excellent characters and descriptions that can only make you sigh as you turn the last page. Well done!! Her Perfect Rogue by Amanda Mariel Send to a brothel, Julia Honeyfield runs away at her first opportunity. She runs into the arms of a Duke who helps by letting her be companion to his sister. Julia is determined to learn to be a lady and make the Duke proud for helping her. Can anything come of their attraction? This was in the Unwrapping a Rouge and Hot Winter Nights Collection Lori Dykes
