I always pick these up because I can find new authors and read old favorites. Definitely worth the $3.

The collection of twisted fairytales is fun, each story different. I liked the variety, some were dark takes, others just a different take on a familiar tale. A really good sampler!

I thought this was simply a collection of short stories...But I see that I will need at least one book from each of the authors (that are not already in my collection) before I am sated.

Nicely written. Last story was fabulous.

This tale takes you in an unexpected, but pleasant, direction. I’m makes you think about the story in a whole new way...and you will enjoy it as an adult even more than as a child!

Maybe they were reading a different book. The one I read didn't deserve even one star! It made no sense and thank goodness it was free!

Some were better than others

This is 17 authors who came together to give their darker side take on faerie tales that are from their past. These stories are not you nice happy romantic stories you remember from your childhood and I would make sure to read this with the lights on. They aren't full blown scary but they aren't warm and fuzzy either lol. I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.I enjoyed reading these because sometimes the sugar and spice and everything nice gets a little boring but these kept my attention.
