Last night, Elysia Rey was a dream. Today she’s alive, flung into a world where phones are smart and magic is called electricity.
A world in which her kind has no right to live and is hunted by monsters and humans alike.
But Elysia Rey wasn’t created to roll up and die. She has one purpose: protect her dreamer.
No bulletproof chimera or vengeful shade hunter will keep her from fulfilling that purpose.

This book was 105 pgs. Very interesting, a little confusing at first but you quickly catch up. Looking forward to the series. Was disappointed nothing on Nook, will check again! *** spoiler if she was being hunted by a shade, the other shades she summoned weren't smart or strong enough until she conjured Eden, or were they not given the chance to try ?? It would seem like working with the other hunters maybe the safest place to hide, so maybe join them? How much do free Lance hunters get charged and I assume that working with a sword isn't that unusual in their line of work?
