And the angel said to the shepherds in the field; Fear not: behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be the sign unto you; You shall find the baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Luke 2: 8-14
The excitement of Christmas just one night away Snowmen and sleigh-rides all through for the day.
Inside after dinner a story awaits the children come running so not to be late.
The chill of the night knocking at the front door by the warmth of the fire they lay on the floor.
As I reach for the story they so long to hear my little one whispers, "Daddy change it this year."
"We do love the story of bright lights and toys of Santa and roof-tops, of girls and of boys."
"But tonight Daddy tell us tell us the story of Love, of a manger, a baby, a star up above."
"My brothers and I are hoping to hear, the story of Jesus, not eight tiny reindeer."
