This is a wonderful way for children to pass the time with what I like to call "push-ups for your brain". We own a few books in the series and they are great for rainy days, roadtrips, and sitting with grandparents for some special time. My 9 and 12 year old still find them engaging and we have used them since they were first published. Ultimately, they are great for all ages... even me! AS A SIDE NOTE: I would highly recommend the "Can You Find It?" series that uses famous works of art as their pictures. This series is a wonderful way to sneak some culture into kids' lives without them being the wiser!
Grandkids love these books. They can spend hours on end looking for the hidden treasures on each page, loads of fun!
My 4-year-old is obsessed with these books. My 6-year-old and 2-year-old also really like them. We had "The Night Before Christmas" version and I really wanted to get them this for Christmas. This one is also beautiful and fun. They don't necessarily find the things that are listed by the author, sometimes they challenge each other to find little things they see.
I love the I Spy and Can you See what I See books, my son loves them, they keep us busy and its great to go over at bedtime. It's a nice quiet project.
