Pinnacle Book Achievement Award – 2015 Contemporary Romance Novella (1st Edition)

Our readers wanted more so here it is! The 2nd edition is a full length novel that combines the first two novellas from the 1st edition about Cassie and Dan with added story line. We love Cassie and Dan and glad you do as well!

Cassie Anderson, bridesmaid extraordinaire, is tired of attending her friend’s weddings either solo, or with her best friend, Thad. Finding a real date is simply too much work. Especially when she sees an old acquaintance from high school, Dan, at her friend Shelley’s wedding. After the spark shared between them, Dan has become the object of her affection. Too bad he has a nasty habit of having a date on his arm at every turn. Stealing another woman's date is against the rules, but if she could just catch him at an event alone…well, that would be fair game! Unfortunately, timing is everything, and she and Dan seem to have the worst. Always the bridesmaid, walking away with nothing more than a dreadful dress,

Cassie is committed to changing her luck and getting her man.

Dan daydreamed about Cassie Anderson through most of his high school classes. She barely knew he was alive – but that didn’t stop him from wanting her for all those years. Unfortunately, her return to his life comes at the worst time possible. As he tries to put his life back together, he keeps an eye on her, hoping to find her single at the right time. A time when it all hurts a bit less. A time when he can offer her all of the love she deserves. After three weddings of happenstance meetings, Dan finds himself to be a little more ready for everything that is Cassie. Putting himself out there, he can only hope she is everything he thinks she might be — his forever girl.

'I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review' Cassie brings the cliché of always a Bridesmaid never a Bride to life. Going to Wedding after Wedding for her old classmates makes her feel the pain of not having that special someone in her life. She usually goes by herself or takes her best friend Thad with her. But she wants the real thing. When she runs into Dan an old friend from school she can't believe how much he had changed. He seems to like her too although he either has a date when she see's him or he just isn't in a state of mind for what she has in mind. My Opinion: I enjoyed this book. It was a short book but it was still enjoyable. It was interesting reading the trials that the two went through in trying to come together. You really start to feel for the characters. I definitely recommend reading. 'Read and Reviewed by LSK Sweetheart Reviews'

I loved the concept of this book, wedding guests are totally more interesting, because you sort of know how the day is going to play out for the Bride and Groom. What I loved about this book was the friendship between Cassie and Thad, the idea that men and women can be friends, best friends, without sex getting in the way. Dan is also such a sweetheart, he seems perfect for Cassie and the whole time I was rooting for Dan to see the light. Now, we I cannot wait for the 2nd book and the chance to see what happens between Dan and Cassie. I also saw on Amazon that there are a total of 4 books in the series. I am going to pre-order them on my kindle. I am so happy the the wait isn't too long betwee books. I plan to devour Dan's, Every Other Wedding, when it comes out and quickly move on to Thad's book in the series. I have a feeling I am going to be hard pressed to get Thad out of my system. He seems like the kind of guy a lady could get stuck on, easily.  Anyway, I love this book, Cassie and Dan and their weddings really made the last 2 nights of mine, enjoyable! Highly recommend starting the series!

Cassie is always a bridesmaid and never a bride. She has been an attendant or an attendee at many weddings of her friends from school and getting a little depressed. When will she find "the one". When she stands up in another wedding of a highschool friend, she sees Dan, an old friend from highschool turned hottie. With the help of her "date" Craig, and multiple other high school friends, she wiggles information out about Dan and goes after him. They run into each other at multiple weddings, two of them when she is with Thad, her BFF. Unable to deny the attraction between them, they finally take the plunge and start dating. I also readWhen Cassie Met Thad: Prequel to the One Day at a Wedding Series, which was equally enjoyable. This novella, is short, sweet and about falling in love with someone from your past that you get re-aquainted with. It has it's funny moments, and its sad moments but overall it is a cute romantic read. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
