There is nothing beautiful about murder on the beach.

When Mr. Stephenson is found dead on the shore of Lake Michigan under mysterious circumstances the race is on to catch the murderer before a scandal erupts. Local authorities enlist the help of Cholly, a consultant for the Chicago PD and highly efficient crime solver.

Cholly discovers Mr. Stephenson's secret life and finds a deeper, hidden connection between the killer and Stephenson that sends the authorities into overdrive. As it turns out, the killer is part of a larger, more sinister organization that poses a far greater threat than initially thought.

Rushing to end things before more lives are lost, Cholly chases the murderer throughout Wisconsin and enlists the help of multiple agencies across several states and counties in his attempt to bring down the killer.

Will Cholly catch the killer before he murders again? What does this larger, secret organization have to do with it, and who runs them? The more Cholly digs into the circumstances of this case the more complex things become.

The Lake Michigan Investigations series is filled with murder, mystery, and intrigue. One Body in Two Rivers is the first book in the series and features crime fighting savant Cholly Chester.
