Having read many Christian books, this one takes a fresh and very authentic approach. I recommend it. In December we were at Rosebud Indian Reservation, in the poorest county in the US, Todd County South Dakota. You do not need a road sign to know when you enter Rosebud. There is no sign of industry, poverty is evident. For 7 years we have been a pick up point for Desciples International Toy Drive to Rosebud, even though we are members of a Baptist Church which contribulted gererously. If your children received toys for Christmas, they are set apart from many Native American children. Awesome is our God. Thank you Richard Twiss for writing such an authoritive book on Native American History and a very direct analysis of segmented denominational Christianity. God is LOVE first of all, not a divider by doctrine. As individuals, we can never approach God's Holiness. Only through His son Jesus who died for us can we truly know God on a personal level. If it is the Native American who leads this nation to their knees, I will be in full support. 2 Chromicals 7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." God promises His eyes will be open and His ears attentive to our prayers. Go for it! Mary Richardson

IslandClan is a huge island with mainly palm, birch, beech, and willow trees. We love to swim that is why we are in the middle of Lake Surperior. We eat fish so are like RiverClan. The leader's den is two willow trees tht hv grown very close together. The den is the dropping leaves of the willows. Behind is bracken to stop th den from going to the river, but a clear, clean stream runs through camp d skirts the edge so parts of the river are in al the dens. The nursery is a flen birch tree that is propped up on a large rock. The crack starts small but opens to a large opening with the softest sand ever! It smell of honeysuckle and rose in spring because a rose bush is outside but honeysuckle climbs up the walls. A small pool of water is inside for kitting queens. The medicine den is rge honeysuckle and rose bushes all around a dip in the sandy ground. Shls decorate the den making it shimmer because a crack in the smooth stone wall makes a waterfall that shimmers. Cracks in the wll re where they put herbs. The apprentice den is bracken an ivy growing together climbing up a
