I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review. This is the second book in the Halo series. In this book, we read the story about Nicole and Avery. They both decide to go on a singles cruise because they have both been unlucky in love! I refuse to give anything away but their road to a happy ending was definitely not an easy one! So you have to read it to see what happens! I do recommend reading Tattooed Dots first but its not necesssry. Mature sex scenes so 18 and over! Do yourself a favor and get this book. You can't go wrong with Kimberly Knight!

I was gifted this book for an honest review by author Kimberly Knight. This is book 2 of The Halo series by the author. Nicole found out her boyfriend has a girlfriend and she soon swore off settling for anything but a good time so a singles cruise was perfect for her. Avery wanted something different in his life so when he found a singles cruise he thought it would be a perfect place to meet women. What Nicole and Avery found was something they did not know they needed. I love the interaction of the characters in this story. Kimberly Knight writes very smooth flowing story lines in all of her book and this is no exception. This book is for mature romance book lovers because of sexual situations. It is best to read the books in order. Another hit series Kimberly Knight!

While this book can be read alone, I strongly recommend that you read Tattooed Dots first because this story is of Nicole and Avery, friends of Easton and Brooke. It starts from around the time that Tattooed Dots starts, tells their side of many of the same events, and then continues on. So while it seems to be the same story, it's from another perspective. (Just like a famous author is doing with her well-known series). My heart broke with the pain that Nicole has to go through. It hit very close to home. I felt like I was right there with her going through it. It might be a good idea to have some tissues on hand.
