Overview

One For Sorrow is a fast paced, sometimes brutal, romantic mystery revolving around the newly appointed Chief of Pathology Dr. Cecelia Montage.
Cecelia was quite young to be appointed to this role but soon gets involved in the investigation of several gruesome killings. She is helped by her deputy, Dr. Sally Birch, and also by the re-kindling of her relationship with long lost love DCI Riley Blackman.

However, she receives the unwanted attention of a brutal and clever work colleague and also that of a self-named serial killer - The Scientist.

About the Author

Sophie (S.E.Marley-Walton) was born in Stevenage and then moved to Norway where she spent her younger years. She later moved back to England when she was still a child, and settled in Peterborough. Sophie moved to Cardiff to live with her partner Scott who she then married in May 2014. With qualifications in Laboratory skills and Public services, she now works as a medical laboratory assistant at University Hospital Wales in Cardiff, and before this held a similar role in Peterborough. Sophie is also a Petty Officer in the Youth Organisation, the Sea Cadets (T.S. Cardiff) which she attends twice a week and also teaches a class in Meteorology which she is currently studying as a home learning course.
