This book is well worth buying. There are poems in there I had forgotten I even knew. I am not a big fan of poetry, or so I thought anyway, but 95% of them are worth reading again and then later, once more. I really am enjoying this book.

This book now is in the hands of the fourth generation in my family. A classic with great lessons to live by as well as beautiful poetry.

This is an excellent anthology of poems. However the Dorset Press edition does not include the extra additions such as the Gettysburg Address, Lincoln Letter, Magna Carta, Give Me Liberty speech and Declaration of Independence. These are included in earlier editions of the book.

In one poem by william shakesphere it metioned me in it, jessica, that is my name. These poems have ryhme and rythm and are so not plain. They have stories of sad, beloved, and nature.. which tho' hold to my heart. These old poems of true love, battlefields, and nature abroad are full of meaning!!! The typos are many but, oh dear they are worth the money. William shakesphere, james russel, and etc... good book of poems
