4.5 Star Review of One More Moment (Band On The Run #3) by Samantha Chase What do you do when you are virtually left at the altar? That is the position drummer Julian Grayson finds himself in and he decides to take 3 months off and retreat to the beach to contemplate his life and his future. When Julian forgets his wallets and cannot pay for his coffee Charlotte Clark offers to pay. Julian is sure that she has recognised him, and this is an attempt to get him to “owe” her. after all he is a famous rock star, but nothing could be further from the truth. Charlotte has no idea who Julian is, all she was trying to do was a good deed.Charlotte is sweet and a tad naive and decides to throw herself into helping Julian transform his life. Julian decides to go along with it knowing full well he will have to eventually reveal who he really is. What will happen when Charlotte finds out the truth? I was riveted from the start with this book and it was fantastic to see some characters that I recognise make an appearance. This book at times was an emotional roller coaster with plenty of drama, angst and love sprinkled throughout. Although a stand alone I do feel you might get more enjoyment if you were to read the previous two books in the series

This book has some described sexual situations but the actual act happens off-page, and mild cursing with just one f-bomb. Neither thing is a big focus of this book so even if those things aren't your jam, you shouldn't have a problem with this one. One More Moment is the fourth book the Band On The Run series (Riley's book overlaps two series) but it totally stands alone. After reading the first three books of this series, I was SO ready for Julian - the band mate who seemed to take care of everyone else while he was a hot mess himself - to find his happily ever after, and Charlotte was the perfect match for Julian. Charlotte was sweet and caring, but she also had a bit of a sassy side, and she was infinitely patient with Julian as he struggled mightily to figure out what a healthy relationship looked like. I absolutely adored Julian, even when he was a bit of a bonehead. Julian wasn't perfect, he wasn't always logical or fair to Charlotte because of his own personal issues, but he was a genuinely good guy from start to finish, and the growth that he showed despite his past was incredible. On a personal note, one of my favorite lines in the book was when Charlotte was reading a book that had been turned into a movie. “The book was better.” I laughed out loud and really wanted to high five Ms. Chase. (But I did enjoy the movie for what it was.) I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-written love story between two likable characters, or to anyone has been waiting for Julian to get his happily ever after – you won't be disappointed.

I loved this book about Julian, the drummer in the Shaugnessy band & Charlotte. I found it intriguing that Charlotte didn't know who he was, and mistook him for someone who needed help finding a job. Charlotte is a social worker & loves to help others & solve problems. When they meet Julian forgot his wallet in the coffee shop so Charlotte offered to pay for his order & he was super gruff & cranky with her. However he found it fascinating that she didn't realize he was in a famous band. I loved their story & how they helped each other grow & change. I could not put this book down, I read it in one sitting.

This was a solid 4.5 read for me. A wonderful way to wrap up the bands tale! Chase masterfully draws the readers straight into the storytelling with heartfelt emotional connections and an engaging plot. Just the perfect amount real honest people, drama and life circumstances and deep and undeniable love. I flat out loved it. I received this ARC copy of One More Moment from SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca. Looking for a “feel good about love” tale? Want to be able to smile about two souls meeting by chance and finding their own oasis of happiness and heart? Samantha Chase has it right here in ONE MORE MOMENT! After a heartbreaking opening, setting the background for drummer Julian Grayson’s complete mistrust in his ability to find happiness with someone else, a chance meeting and a misunderstanding just may change his heart. Social worker Charlotte Clark thought the man who couldn’t pay for his coffee was down on his luck and needed a helping hand. Julian, having forgotten his wallet, thought the woman offering to pay was looking for her “brush with fame.” As Charlotte is thinking she is lending a helping hand, about to change this man’s life for the better, she had no idea just how much that coffee would change both of their lives in the best way possible! Samantha Chase’s talent at storytelling is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day as she takes two completely lovable characters and sends them for a ride on a merry-go-round of romance and love! It’s so nice to find a love story with more positive than negative within as, once again, finding your heart’s better half is that silver lining to life!

Review,: ONE MORE MOMENT by Samantha Chase Publication Date: September 4, 2018 Genre: Contemporary Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated 4.5 Stars I enjoyed this story and now need to go back and get the earlier ones – especially since this is the last in this series. I loved how the band and friends cared about each other and their easy banter. That’s why Julian’s almost pouty behavior a few times seemed out of place for me. Not enough to turn me off, just made me pause a second. Charlotte was so selfless, and it was a hoot on how they met. Loved that angle. They were all believable and relatable so that I was pulled into the lovely story. Great chemistry on the romance and just enough heat to make me smile. *Review copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Rock on! It's always a joy to revisit the guys of Shaughnessy and get the lowdown on what's going on in all of their lives, and it's especially special to get updates on the Shaughnessy family that we've loved over the years. Julian was different than I was expecting him to be ... mostly because he hit a wall and had to face the mess his life had become before we got to know his story instead of coming in when he was in his spotlight. I didn't connect with him as much as I have some of the other guys, but I still enjoyed his story and watching him work the long road towards his happily ever after. Really great series! Julian Grayson has been hiding from his life for months now, but he's finally taking the step to move forward again by coming home. His life has revolved around being the drummer of rock band Shaughnessy for so years, so when his personal life took a dive in a public spectacle, he felt the need to walk away from it all. He's back ... but he's not sure he can ever stomach being a public entity anymore. Meeting Charlotte, who doesn't know him from Adam, gives him the chance to be anonymous for once, and he has to admit, he likes it! Charlotte Clark meets a guy at a coffee shop who she perceives as being down on his luck. It's exactly the type of person that she's made it her life's work to help, so she's happy to add Julian to her list. The more time they spend together, the more they start to like each other and lean further into each other's lives, but she has no idea who he is ... and when she does find out, she's spitting mad!

Highly entertaining, sweetly sexy, emotionally thrilling and action packed romantic adventure that left me breathless...... perfect summer afternoon in the backyard sipping on a cold drink relaxing time. Julian Grayson is burnt out on fame and enjoying hiding in plain sight..... Charlotte Clark is sweet, sexy, compassionate and completely charming Julian even though she does not seem to know who he is. Was hook from the first chapter and loved every captive moment.

Another book from Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run Series, this time Julian the band's drummer finds love again. Julian has a few rough months behind him after leaving his cheating fiancee at the alter he takes a break and after coming home his attention is captivated by social worker Charlotte. But he is making the same mistakes all over again and is not trying to forget the past and suddenly for Charlotte love is not enough. So this is the first book from the series and I don't know the previous stories but I was not very impressed. I liked the Charlotte she was very likable kindhearted wanted to help everyone. The one that I had a problem with was Julian he acted like the worst crime was done to him, he knew that his fiance had cheated on him constantly and still wanted to marry her and was then repulsed by her action. He didn't know how to talk, didn't wanted to listen. He had for me a really stupid reason not to go and play with the band anymore. SPOILER And what I was surprised a little bit negatively that Charlotte had, in the end, quit her job and went on a long vacation. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

This was a good read for me! I love finding a new author who can grab my attention from the start! The writing flowed well, and I thought the characters were fully developed. I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but that didn't affect the flow of the story. It was hard for me to like Julian for a while. I felt like he was throwing himself a never ending pity party, and he didn't want anyone to point out that he was doing it to himself. It takes Julian A LONG time to come to terms with everything that happened to him, and Charlotte gets dumped on in the mean time. I liked Charlotte, I thought she was a good h. She knew when to push and when to walk away. The ending was perfect for these characters. I will definitely be looking for more from this author! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

4 1/2 Stars ... a sweet romance that shouldn't be missed! Julian is the drummer for the band Shaughnessy and is tired of his life in the spotlight. But when he finally admits that his longtime girlfriend cheats on him, he makes a spectacle of their life at their wedding by exposing her cheating ways and then he takes off for 3 months on a motorcycle to try and sort his life out. When he returns to Malibu, he meets Charlotte in line at a coffee shop. When he forgets his wallet, Charlotte thinks that he is homeless and pays for his coffee and muffin. He thinks she's trying to scam him, but she truly has no idea who he is an her being a social worker, she's used to helping people. And Julian can't help but fall for her because she doesn't treat him any different than anyone else. But when Charlotte finds out he's a millionaire rock star, she wants no part of him. Can Julian convince Charlotte to take a chance on them? This is a sweet romance that will make you laugh, cry and swoon. I couldn't help but fall for these characters as they just seem so real ... well maybe Julian has a lifestyle that we all would love, but he doesn't seem so full of himself as you think he would being a rock star. And Charlotte, bless her heart, she just wants to make the world she lives in a better place for everyone. This has been a great book and series and I highly recommend you read it. I received an ARC courtesy of Sourcebooks Casablanca through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

This is a great story about the growth of both characters mainly Jules. But Charlotte also has to learn when to let him figure out things for himself. Julian has been betrayed by the woman he loved. After taken three months away from his life he's back to move on, but not really he is too scared to go back to his music to scared to trust himself. He meets Charlotte and he falls in love with her but he is just repeating past mistakes. And Charlotte being a social worker tries to make him see he hasn't gotten over his past. He's ignoring it and not dealing with it. The way the fall for each other so soon you at first don't believe it. But. the author makes it all work there are a lot of characters but all necessary to the plot this is a great read

Samantha Chase writes series that grab you and don't let go, and her Band on the Run series is no exception. One More Moment wraps up the series and tells the story of Julian Grayson, the drummer for the Shaughnessy band. After his off/on relationship ends with a bang, Julian is a runaway groom. He takes time out to try and deal with the betrayal and make some hard decisions about his future. Julian meets Charlotte at a coffee shop when she offers to pay for his order since he forgot his wallet. Does she want something from Julian Grayson, rock star? No, she sees a rumpled, unshaven man, who appears to be down on his luck, and doesn't know he's famous. Charlotte is a vocational counselor who helps people find jobs and get back on their feet. and her intuition tells her Julian is adrift. "Believe it or not, it's taking the first step that truly is the hardest. We tend to build up these scenarios of self-doubt in our minds and think we can't possibly overcome the hard circumstances and it paralyzes us." While Charlotte is referring to the homeless that she helps, her words ring true for Julian as well. Having been raised not to be quitter, he had done everything to make his relationship work. The betrayal caused self-doubt and left him unable to trust. The relationship between Charlotte and Julian starts at a slow simmer but progresses quickly once they give in to their mutual attraction. Being with Charlotte helps Julian learn to trust and be open to love again. Julian's bandmates, are also great sounding boards as he works through his issues. Chase's wonderful writing style and engaging characters kept my interest throughout the book. While she develops the relationship between Charlotte and Julian, we also get updated on Dylan, Matt, Riley and their spouses, as well as Riley's siblings from the Shaughnessy Brothers series. I really think the band manager, Mick, deserves a story too! I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review

This is book 3 in the Band on the Run series and it’s a cute read. I haven’t read the first 2 books, and there were parts throughout this one where I felt like I should have because there were things that flew over my head. Other than that, I thought this book was well written and I loved how Jullian and Charlotte first met in the coffee shop! Charlotte is a social worker and Jullian ends up volunteering at her job and they start to form a relationship after that. Jullian’s been through a lot with how his ex cheated on him and the scene where he outed her at their wedding was epic! Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an ARC copy!

Received an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) This is part of a series and I honestly think that you should catch up with the others to get a better feel for this. We have known Julian from the past books and honestly don't get why he keeps letting himself get heartbroken over this woman he has been with, he constantly gets cheated on and he keeps taking her back, but finally finally they break up and he has decided he will not give his heart to someone again. While starting over he three months down the road he meets Charlotte who is a sweet heart and we want to smack Julian upside the head many times because when he finally meets someone worth it he acts idiotic, not all the time mind you but enough times. We have tears and yes happiness and my favorite getting to catch up with the rest of the fam. I don't want to give many info because you wont enjoy it too much is given away, so grab a copy and sit back..

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. When famous drummer Julian forgets his wallet and Charlotte pays for his breakfast, he thinks she wants something from him and she just wanted to do a good deed. After they keep running into each other around town they realize they have more in common than they thought, but can Julian actually learn to trust someone else again? This is the third book in the series and it was great! The story was quick moving, the characters were smart and real. I thoroughly enjoyed it all.

6 Shaughnessy Stars Review by Elizabeth Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog Holy. Fuck. I am a huge lover of all books by Samantha Chase and she has totally knocked it out of the park with One More Moment. Julian is recovering from a broken heart when he meets Charlotte. Charlotte has no idea who Julian is when they meet and Julian is less than inviting. Julian believes that Charlotte knows who he is and she just wants something from him. When he finally realizes Charlotte does not know him, he becomes a bit more responsive. Of course Charlotte thinks he is homeless and does her best to help him, even getting him to volunteer at a homeless shelter. When Julian finally reveals to Charlotte who he is, he is in for a surprise. Why? Because she does not care! From then on they start dating and Julian has to find out what kind of woman Charlotte is. Charlotte is not one for gifts or money being spent on her like the women Julian is used too. Charlotte is great for Julian but he is just so closed off due to past experience. The passion they share is intense but oh so good. There are not any sex scenes as they are faded to black but it is still oh so good! I love how they complement each other and Charlotte does her best to help Julian overcome his past. They do have their ups and downs like any other couple and Julian has to come to terms that Charlotte is different. If you have yet to read anything by Samantha Chase, I highly encourage you to buy any of her books as she is amazing!! One More Moment is on my top ten favorite reads so far this year!!

**I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review** This was the first book I read in The Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run series. While I enjoyed it, I will say that it might have been better if I had read the other books in the series first. Julian is intense and jaded by the life he leads. Charlotte is sweet with a beautiful soul. The chemistry between the two was amazing. The characters made me root for their happiness. I grew attached to them and didn't want the story to end. I truly enjoyed reading this book.

Charlotte is a character that I can relate to. If I saw a band member at a coffee shop I would probably not know who they were and would happily offer to pay for their coffee if they didn’t have their wallet without expectations. Then I would be curious about the person, just because that is the type of person that I am. I love that Charlotte was clueless, I disliked that Julian didn’t come clean with her right away. Yet, I understood why he felt he had to protect who he was and keep his identity a secret; too many people have expectations when they find out that a person has fame and money. I have read all the Band on the Run books so far. Each book is a different band member’s story. The non-featured band members all make appearances in each other books giving the reader a chance to catch up on the happenings of their lives. I got to learn about the weddings, the babies, and where their lives are now while learning about a new band member. This is a fun series. You get a glimpse into the life of a successful band and how that success can affect the band members. It is also a good reminder that while they are celebrities, they are real people with normalish lives also.

Life is good. It's time for another Shaughnessy Brothers book. Love watching the development of the guys in the band. Each book is a story of itself but it's fun getting to catch up with old friends. It's a fun flirty romance. Samantha Chase does it again!!!

One More Moment is a book that will renew your faith in true love. I hate to see this series end but Ms. Chase has finished on top with this story. Julian and Charlotte's love story shows that even misunderstandings in coffee shops can lead to your true love. With this series ending I really want to know what Ms. Chase will come up with next.

Have you ever seen one of those social media videos in which a groom gets revenge that totally stuns not only their cheating bride but everyone else at the wedding? This is what was exactly what came to my mind when I was reading about Julian. He walked out from his wedding ceremony and detached from everything, his ex-fiance, his band, his old life. A chance meeting has Charlotte Clark buying Julian's coffee. Julian, who is disillusioned with his life, someone always wanting something from him, has a hard time excepting that she wants nothing from him. He's drawn to her and to being basically unknown. Charlotte basically gives her all to help others to get back on their feet and feels Julian is another person needing her help. Her positive outlook in life slowly reflects in Julian's. He realizes that he has to deal with the unhealthy dynamics of his own upbringing before he can have a possible healthy relationship. I absolutely loved how this book unfolded. It has such a great 'feel good' vibe to the story. Love how all the band mates and their ladies get involved to help the community.

This is the third book in the Band on the Run Series about the members of the fictional band Shaughnessy. Although it is part of a series I think it can be read as a standalone but will be more enjoyable as part of the series. I enjoy Samantha Chase's writing style and the characters she creates. I loved the beginning and the "meet cute" for Charlotte and Julian but I spent 75% of the book completely frustrated with Julian. I do love a damaged, brooding hero but Julian tried my patience a bit. Luckily he gets his act together in time to "get his girl." I am looking forward to book 4. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have been in LOVE with the Shaughnessy family since Made For Us and I can honestly say that I was heartbroken that the series was coming to an end but little did I know that Ms. Chase had saved the ABSOLUTE BEST for last!!! We finally get Julian's story and after everything that he's been through he decided to take a break. He walks into a coffee shop one day looking a little worse for wear and not like a famous rock star and when he goes to pay for his coffee and realizes he forgot his wallet Charlotte pays for it without a second thought. Julian can't believe that she doesn't recognize him or want something from him. Charlotte sees someone she assumes is down on their luck and steps in to help because that's who she is. After all that Julian has been through he needs someone inherently good like Charlotte. Ms. Chase truly outdid herself in the journey we get to go on together with Julian and Charlotte. I don't want to give away any spoilers but this book is a MUST READ!!!! I think it's also my new favorite by the AMAZING Ms. Chase. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

When everything in Julian Grayson's life gets to be too much, he takes a break from it all. Charlotte Clark offers to pay for his coffee, and he's immediately thinking she wants something from him. She has no clue who he is, and it's a refreshing turn for Julian, so he pursues her while keeping up the facade of just being a regular joe. The story draws you in from the first page and I loved the journey these characters take you on. Definitely the best one in the series so far!
