About the Author

Cass Peterson lives in a house with way too many books, candles and wine glasses. She loves painting (with oils, not emulsion, usually) and her ambition is to live near enough the sea to walk on the beach in sun, rain, and snow. She will then give in to her broody instincts and get a large, slobbery dog. Cass is now writing a full length erotic comedy-romance featuring a young spinster in search of sizzling sex. Those looking for a story teeming with emotional foreplay will get just that with this short and intensely erotic tale. The author pulls you in from the start vividly depicting the romanticism of San Francisco. From there we're introduced to the main couple in a memorable way. Liam and Nicky are both likable with charm and playfulness in abundance. Their first meeting oozes sexual tension and their banter crackles with sensuality. From this sexy start and with a few clever plot devices, as well as an endearing cast of secondary characters, there's much to like about this book but also a few flaws. The story has the main characters separated for a large part of the time so when they finally connect it's all about sex with very little time for a deeper connection. Both characters have issues about sex caused by past lovers which has left them doubting their abilities to please the other and looking for affirmations. There's also issues with distance as they both live thousands of miles apart. While it's clear courtesy of lots of steamy sexual interludes that they're a perfect match in bed, there's no time to deal with other issues which gives the story a HFN feel once the final page is turned. On a whole, fans of erotica will enjoy this tantalizing tale but from start to finish this story is a sexy appetizer that's filling but leaves you wanting more.
