## UGH. I have to disagree with these great reviews. Cassie was such a disappointment. She started off strong and funny but turned into a total doormat. She let her family bully and humiliate her for months, never standing up for herself. And Trey was a slimeball, always ignoring her calls, needing a break and blaming her for the bad press. HE'S the one who persued HER insisting they should be together and HE'S the one with the high profile job. There needed to be a lot more groveling. I realize the author needed her HFN ending but I can't stand the instant forgiveness after the way her dad and Trey treated her. Sorry, but I can't recommend.

The story of Trey and Cassie is very real, believable and again, although set against a football background, it is not a football story... Wonderful support characters and a story that could happen to your nextdoor neighbor... I loved the interplay between the characters... I felt so sorry for the two teanaged half sisters... I wanted to slap the stepmother and would like to see a sequal in the hopes of seeing her get what she deserves... Trey was one in a million and would hope that men like him exist in real life... Loved the book and will definately be following this series.

I enjoyed Cassie and Trey’s story, but it just felt like it was lacking that wow factor. Trey and Cassie met and their connection was undeniable. I did appreciate that the author focused mostly on their budding relationship. It wasn’t until we make it through a large portion of the book that they find out the truth about each other. The ending was sweet, but it definitely left me craving just a tiny bit more. Hopefully we get to catch up with them throughout the series.

There is something so intriguing about these books! I've been (semi) patiently waiting for the rest of the series so I went ahead and reread the first two & started below the belt.... I love her writing style!

Wow what a great story! I absolutely loved thos book. Sexy, funny and a touch of heartache. At times I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. Lol. Cassie is a beautiful woman who's kind, caring and sweet with a great sense of humor and a sassy sarcastic little spitfire. When she finally meets her nio father for the first time she is dcared to death and he doesn't make it any easier on her. Then she meets her two sisters and instantly falls in love with Mellie who is excitrd about having an older sister and isn' t quite sure what to think of Irene who think Cassie is an intrusion. She met Trey a gorgeous sexy man who made her laugh and turned her on who just so happens to be the quarterback for the team her father is the head coach for but neither of them share their secrets. So after a night of amazing sex . Cassie trys to distance herself because she knows she may not be staying in Mexico but Trey really likes her alot because she doesn't know who he is which intrigues him. The chemistry between them is off the charts HOT! I highly recommed this book to everyone.

I tried to care about Trey and Cassi but the characters were never fully developed. I thought the book would focus on their relationship but the writer spent more time on the horrible Tabitha and Cassi just spent far too long taking the disrespect.

A chance meeting between two people who, unbeknownst to them, have a connection they could never have anticipated. When Cassie and Trey meet in a nightclub they have no idea of each others true identities. Trey is a star quarterback for the local football team and is on a night out with the boys, trying to enjoy a bit of normalcy without the fans hounding him. Cassie is in town to meet her newly discovered father and wants one night of fun before it all turns serious. One night of passion ignites a connection that they didn't expect, leading them on a path they could not have foreseen. I really liked the premise of this story and it was much more than a light hearted jock story. Cassie was independent and confident in her own skin, intelligent and an IT wizz. Her relationship with her father was strained and made worse by the new stepmother who sees Cassie as a threat to her 'perfect' family. This was a tough road she was going down and when Trey and Cassie discover that their connection is her father and his coach, their budding relationship is put to the test and I liked how it developed. They both learned to trust and support each other. Trey Owens was not your typical celebrity sports star who jumps into bed with groupie fans every night and revels in the attention. Trey liked to distance himself from the limelight as often as he could, committing to the charity side of his fame but never really being comfortable with the star struck fans and media. I really liked this about him and the way he supported Cassie through her family dramas and his friend Stephen who had issues of his own. I liked how Cassie and Treys' relationship developed over time. I could relate to the family drama and the wariness of both characters to jump blindly into a relationship, but I loved the commitment from both of them when they realised it was something more. They had some sexy, hot love scenes which were well written and passionate. You could feel the chemistry between them and the desire they had for each other. The supporting cast in this book was great, Cassie's friend Anya, Treys' team mates and Cassie's new family all added to the story. I felt for Cassie when her new family treated her so badly but it added depth to her character and she grew so much through those experiences. The antics of the step sisters and the problems Stephen faced were added drama and this showed us the unselfish sides to both Cassie and Trey. I also enjoyed the banter between the characters, particularly between Cassie, Trey and their friends. I really enjoyed reading about Trey and Cassie and meeting this cast of characters and look forward to seeing where this series goes.

I enjoyed this book. new author and a new series to follow. Strong woman and hunky man, throw in some football and sexy scenes and you have a quick summer read to make you smile, cry and laugh. It is a stand alone book with a HEA.

I really liked this book and thought it was a great series opener. We got to see a few of the players and were able to get a little background before their books come out. Trey, Stephen and Josh are great friends and their relationship with each other shows that this is going to be a fun series about a group of football players to read. Cassie has just been told who her father is and decides to meet him. Little does she know exactly how this will change her life in more ways then one. It wasn't easy trying to fit into her new family dynamics while her step-mother is trying to keep her away from her new sisters. Thankfully, she had Trey there to help her. Even if neither one of them were aware how interconnected their lives really were. Trey and Cassie made a great pair and I liked that they both had something to lose if their relationship became public knowledge. Those two together were pretty hot and achingly sweet. Looking forward to reading more about these people. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

This was a pretty good book. I enjoyed the concept behind it (one-night stand that turns into significantly more despite what both intended going in) and the story of Cassie. I enjoyed Trey too. He was an all-around good guy with his devotion to his teammates. Great romance fighting against what they desire out of the need to do what they see as "right" or what they "should" do under the circumstances. The grovel at the end (multiple parties groveling, which was different) was quite satisfactory. I can't wait to read more in the Santa Fe Bobcats series!

I loved sports themed romances, and Jeanette Murray provides her readers with a hot, entertaining, funny, sexy, and just plain good sports themed romance.  Cassie Wainwright just wants one night of freedom, one night on the wild side, before her life changes completely.  Trey Owens just wants to enjoy a night out without being recognized by a mob of people.  Though no one is noticing Trey, her certainly notices Cassie and her friend dancing on a platform at the nightclub.  Cassie, however, is not one of the easy pushover fangirls that typically follow him around.  Cassie is independent, self-confidant, obviously loves life and doesn't care what others think.  Trey can't help but seek Cassie out.  The result of their encounter fuels a chemistry filled passion between them that is anything but easy.   I really loved Cassie's character.  She was just a hoot.  Not only is she funny, she is loyal and isn't afraid of much of anything.......well, except one thing, Trey.  He is totally hot in a "Greek God" fashion.  He sexy as sin, and he is determined to get what he wants, and what he wants is Cassie.  The romance was sweet, though also hot at times.  I loved the banter between Trey and Lisa.  Both have a really great sense of humor.  The story itself is not only fun, it is also beautifully executed and very well written.  It has a good bit of humor, hot romance, great characters, and is an all around good read.  I definitely recommend checking this one out if you are a fan of this genre.

I've found my current book boyfriend in Trey Owens. He's absolutely swoon-worthy, adorable, funny, and hot. The fact that he's a quarterback for NFL team the Bobcats doesn't hurt either. Nerdy Cassie is coming to Santa Fe to meet her strict but well-meaning father, who just happens to be the head coach for the Bobcats, for the first time in her life. The night before she meets him, she decides to let loose and enjoy herself with this god of a man. Who knew that it would turn out her one night stand is with the one and only Trey. Throw in some new sisters and lively friends and mayhem ensues, deception runs rampant, and with a stepmother from hell, one can only hope Cassie and Trey come out on top. One Night with a Quarterback is a quick, fun, quirky, easy read that I just couldn't put down. I was laughing out loud, and felt for the characters on all sides of the equation. Except for maybe Tabitha, who needs a complete attitude makeover. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author, and am definitely looking forward to more in the Santa Fe Bobcat world. I received an ARC from the publishers through NetGalley for an honest review.

A sweet and hot romance, One Night with a Quarterback was a wonderful read. I liked this book and I really enjoyed reading it. Great start to a new series! Cassie was a good heroine. She was fun and likable and an overall engaging character. My one issue with her, though, was that I wanted her to stand up for herself earlier. She let her father and stepmother set rules instead of asserting her own will and didn't change that until the very end of the book. But, other than that, I liked her. Trey was wonderful. He was very sweet and so genuinely adorable. I liked that he was determined to win Cassie over and was willing to do anything for the chance to be with her. I really liked him, as well. The romance was great, both sweet and steamy. Cassie and Trey were wonderful together and their chemistry was super hot. The plot was well paced and I was kept interested the entire way through. I enjoyed the story and the ending was lovely. One Night with a Quarterback was a wonderful romance. I really liked this lovely book. Romance lovers, you might want to check this book out. *I received a complimentary copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review
