This was the final book in the Bachelor Auction series and I felt it ended the series well. I highly recommend this multi-author series and this book! I really like wounded warriors. Gabriel touched me as he struggled to physically and emotionally heal from the war zone accident that killed his friend, who was also Molly's brother. Molly was a strong heroine who had hardships of her own and I loved her wonderful son, Josh.

Final Installment in the series:3.5 stars--ONE NIGHT WITH HER BACHELOR is the sixth installment in the adult, contemporary Montana born Bachelor Auction romance series written by six different authors each focusing on a different bachelor and a woman who will eventually claim his heart. ONE NIGHT WITH HER BACHELOR looks back at the predisposing factors behind the Bachelor Auction. Molly Dekker’s son was injured and the town rallied together to raise the funds to help offset her mounting bills. Enter former Air Force pararescueman Gabriel Morales-Molly’s late brother’s best friend and the man who has secrets of his own. The novella length storyline covers several months and overlaps with the previous five installments including the accident that left ten year old Josh Dekker paralyzed and the Bachelor Auction organized by Molly’s best friend Lily. We watch as Molly struggles with her bills, looking after her son, and her growing attraction for Gabriel Morales. But Gabriel is a man torn between wanting to be left alone with his guilt and pride, and going after the woman who calls to his heart. What ensues is a tentative friendship, awkward relationship and a whole lot of misunderstanding and heartbreak. The chemistry between our leading couple is tepid; I didn’t feel the attraction and Gabriel’s less than stellar acceptance of Molly left a little to be desired. I have not had the chance to read the previous five installments but ONE NIGHT WITH HER BACHELOR can be read as a standalone storyline without any difficulty. All of the other storylines focus on a different bachelor ‘purchased’ at the Bachelor Auction. The secondary and supporting characters include Molly’s BFF Lily Taylor who ‘buys’ her own bachelor in book one BOUND TO THE BACHELOR; as well as Gabriel’s twin sister, his mother, and a few of the locals. ONE NIGHT WITH HER BACHELOR is a quick read where our couple struggle with their relationship due mostly in part to Gabriel’s need to keep secret his past, and in this, he is constantly pushing Molly away. If you are a fan of Kat Latham’s style of writing, check out ONE NIGHT WITH HER BACHELOR then sit back with a glass of wine and a warm blanket-enjoy.

Molly Dekker is overwhelmed by the changes in her life. Her son, Josh, is paralyzed in an accident. As a single mother will she be able to take care of her boy? Gabriel is a hometown hero who lives in isolation. He hasn't been able to adjust to the injuries that he sustained while serving his country. This story is an intense emotional journey. The romance between Molly and Gabriel is passionate and intense. Both are afraid. Their lives are full of heartache. I loved that they had family and friends that gave them love and support. Gabriel is an amazing hero. When he rescued Josh, I fell in love. I understood that he thinks isolation will keep him safe, but he needs people. Molly craves love and affection. She wants to be held and cherished, but she doesn't want charity. I was overcome when they both realized that they needed to face the future and take a chance and make changes. One Night With Her Bachelor was the perfect conclusion to the Bachelor Auction series. Kat Latham wrote a book that captured me with its great character development and a tender, inspirational romance.

Kat Latham delivers with this book. This story is emotional, funny, and steamy. You will be hooked from the beginning. This an enjoyable and entertaining read. "One Night with Her Bachelor" by Kat Latham is book number six in the "Montana Born Bachelor Auction" series. This is Molly Dekker and Gabriel "Gabe" Morales story. Scott, Molly's brother, and Gabe were best friends. Scott was killed in a military helicopter accident. Gabe was injured too and is now living off the grid in a mountain cabin. Molly wants to feel like a woman again not a mom, not a kindergartern teacher, not an ex-wife, and definitely not NICE. Molly has had a crush on Gabe since she was fifteen. She is thinking that maybe Gabe can help her feel like a woman again. Then Molly's life changes and her wanting to feel like a woman again are not that important any longer. Molly's load that she is carrying just seems to get heavier and heavier. She feels like she is about at the end of her rope. Gabe is going through his own struggles too. There is definitely chemistry between Molly and Gabe. Will they allow all these things that they are struggling with to prevent them from finding happiness and true love? This was a great story of how people need to be able to accept help and live life to the fullest no matter what life throws at them. I enjoyed watching Molly and Gabe's relationship grow and change. Kat Latham did a wonderful job of incorporating all the different emotions in Molly and Gabe's story. FYI, includes mature content.

Previous stories touched on the bachelors in the auction; however, this book brought in a lot of details which were not written in previous stories. The details give an in-depth look at this particular bachelor and the teacher/mother/son for whom this auction was organized. I, for one, am glad I purchased this book because I had read previous stories which touched on the auction but focused on others in the book. Now, with the 'missing pieces' detailed it makes all of the books more 'rounded'.

Reviewed by Natasha Jackson for Readers' Favorite One Night With Her Bachelor by Kat Latham is a fun and touching story about single mom Molly Dekker and sexy hero Gabriel Morales. Molly and her son Josh are the impetus for the bachelor auction, since Josh was seriously injured and the medical bills are crippling her finances. Gabriel isn’t just a sexy bachelor, he’s also a former para-rescuer injured while on the job in Afghanistan. After a chance meeting in the supermarket, Molly decides she wants to seduce Gabriel, but before things get hot and sweaty her world comes crashing down when Josh is injured and Gabe swoops in as the hero. Kat Latham has written a beautiful story with two very complicated characters who have experienced deep loss, making it difficult for them to open up to love. Before the night of the auction even begins, Gabriel is slowly and unintentionally winning over both Molly and Josh. Starting with a wheelchair ramp and pretty much becoming the boy’s idol, he finds himself feeling more each day. One Night With Her Bachelor is a quick read, but it has so much depth on the pages that you feel as if you know these characters and experience their pain. Kat Latham presents the effects of PTSD with a deft hand, not going overboard but giving us a clear picture of how Gabriel is suffering. But a night with little Molly Dekker makes it clear what he’s missing in his life, and he longs for a better life than he has alone in the mountains. The characters in One Night With Her Bachelor are what make this story so gripping. Molly is strong and independent and Gabriel is a real tortured hero with heart of gold. I fell in love with both of them and their love story left me with the warm and fuzzies.

One Night with Her Bachelor marks my first time reading Kat Latham. Without question, this will not be the last time. Molly Dekker is what you would call a nice, good girl. At the age of seventeen, she got engaged. At the age of nineteen, she had her son Josh. At the age of twenty-four, she became a single mother when her husband decided he didn’t want to be a father or be married. Now, at the age of twenty-nine, she is dealing with the heartbreaking reality that her child will not have the life she imagined for him. Gabriel Morales is a man struggling with his own new reality. A former pararescuer, his career ended with a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. The same crash in which his best friend, Molly’s older brother was killed. Since returning stateside, Gabriel has been living like a hermit, in a secluded cabin in the woods of Copper Mountain. In a moment out of character for Molly, she envisions an incredible evening with Gabriel, only to have the evening turn into her worst nightmare when she hears that her son is missing. With help and authorities too far away, Gabriel steps back into a world he knows and is comfortable in, that of helping and rescuing people. One thing Marietta, Montana is good at is helping their own. When it’s discovered that Molly is struggling with taking care of Josh and paying their bills, the town and its residents step in and organize a charity bachelor auction. Of course, the best bidder ends up with Gabriel. In One Night with Her Bachelor, Kat Latham takes readers on a wonderful journey of love, pain, redemption, and second chances. The story mentions Gabriel’s two half-brothers, one of which I’m currently begging to get a story on. I loved reading about Molly, Gabriel, and Josh. I just wish there was more to the story. I would have loved to see the three of them as a family. **Received a copy from the author for an honest and unbiased opinion.**

This part of the story is the beginning of Gabriel and Molly reconnecting. Gabriel was Molly's brothers best friend, Molly was Scott's little sister he didn't give a second thought to as more than a sister. Molly saw Gabriel in line at the grocery store and forgot to pay attention as the line was bumped.  "The eggs had taken a suicide plunge onto his boots. The milk carton had exploded at her feet, soaking into the hem of her long skirt and creeping upwards. The sugar bag had hit the edge of the counter and torn before tumbling over and dumping granules into the milk and eggs. And the tampons had fallen onto his bag of carrots on the conveyor belt. " The story also has a serious note as Josh, Molly's son has a accident happen. While Gabriel is hiding in the mountains trying to deal with the pain of losing his best friend, and part of his leg. This story was well written and enjoyed very much. I didn't  want to put the story down for a second.

This is by far, my favorite Bachelor auction book. We finally get the story of Molly and the back round of what happened to Josh. Molly has always liked Gabriel, but he was a friend of her older brother while growing up. Her friend Lily, organizer of the Bachelor auction, sets it up that Molly wins Gabriel, handyman. Both Gabriel and Molly are fighting demons from their past, but can love conquer all. Love the emotions of these two characters and the healing that takes place. This is my first Kat Latham book, and will not be by last. I received this book from the publisher and Net Galley for an honest review. I highly recommend this book along with the series, for some great reads. All books can be read as single titles.

One Night with Her Bachelor by Kat Latham is Book #6 on the Bachelor Auction series and what a wonderful book to finish out the series with. This book is about Molly Dekker and her son Josh and the reason why the Bachelor Auction was held. With Molly drowning in debt due to Josh's accident and disability, Molly's friend Lily comes up with the Bachelor Auction to raise money to donate to Molly. Molly's bachelor is Gabriel Morales who is Molly's brother's best friend and a person Molly has had a secret crush on for years. This book starts off with Molly propositioning Gabriel and when he turns her down they hear Josh has been hurt. This is when Gabriel saves Josh's life and Molly has to cope with Josh being handicap. This book deals with real life situations. A young boy Josh becoming handicap and not wanting to be babied. A man Gabriel dealing with a disability himself, guilt and PTSD and a woman Molly who becomes overwhelmed and a woman with needs. Read how these three become a family, I recommend you read this story, I am sure you will not be disappointed. Once again what a wonderful finish to the Bachelor Auction series. Each book in the series has a sexy bachelor and a HEA ending, check them out.

A wonderful story full of emotion and characters you will love. Molly Dekker’s ten year old son Josh suffered a bad injury when he wondered off with a friend during a scout group camping trip. Josh, fell into a hole at an old mine and was severely injured. Forced to live the rest of his life in a wheel chair has placed a financial burden on Molly. She doesn’t like being the town charity case. But she has no choice when her friend comes up with the plan of a bachelor auction and all money going to help Molly and Josh. Gabriel Morales doesn’t really want to be part of the bachelor auction. But he agrees to do it when he hears it’s for Molly and Josh. Gabriel has known Molly all his life. He was best friends with Molly’s brother Scott. In a strange turn of events, Gabriel is bought by Josh for his mom with his entire savings of $27.32. He doesn’t like seeing his mom sad. He wants her to go out and have some fun. One night of passion doesn’t go as planned. How will Molly be able to get Gabriel to trust her again? Will Gabriel ever be able to move past what is holding him back or will this story remain, just one night with the bachelor? This was my favorite book of the bachelor series and it’s one that you don’t want to miss if you have read any of the other books.

I have read every book from the Bachelor Auction series and One Night with her Bachelor by Kat Latham is one of my favorites. The well-developed characters, the impassioned storyline and the lustful, yet touching sex scenes, are all balanced extremely well to create this quick-paced read. Ms. Latham and Tule Publishing make a dynamic duo. All the books are about a bachelor that gets auctioned off for a charitable cause. In this story we finally find out why Molly Dekker, the nicest woman in the world and kindergarten teacher, along with her ten year old son Josh, are the recipients of the money raised by the bachelor fundraiser. I am not going to say any more than that because I do not want to spoil the plot. Gabriel Morales, Molly's late brother's best friend, is on the auction block and because Josh wants to see his mother give him a little more breathing room, buys her a date with Gabriel for less than thirty bucks. Molly has crushed on Gabriel since she began to first notice boys, so a date with him is certainly not a hardship. Gabriel is a former military man and he prefers to deal with his physical and emotional issues on his own. As Molly and Gabriel spend time together, they not only lustfully explore each other, they develop a friendship based on past and present experiences. Ms. Latham does a wonderful job of developing their relationship, while they simultaneously learn about themselves. Overall, this is a hot, slightly emotional read with a underlying message; appreciate what you have, because it can all change in a heartbeat. Here it is, last but not least, in the Bachelor Auction series, in One Night with the Her Bachelor, we get the background story of Molly and Josh, the single mother and her son, whom the benefit was organized for. Gabriel, the wounded veteran and one of the bachelors on the auction, and Molly have known each other since their childhood. The memories from the past are both painful and joyful, and the connection between them is imminent. But Gabriel has always seen Molly as his best friend's little sister, so getting adjusted to the beautiful woman she has grown to be, takes a minute. The struggle they have to go through, to find each other on an even level, is tough, steep uphill. But despite all the obstacles, they 'never give up' and work on their issues. It is emotional, hard, raw, and real, and so easy to relate to. Both Gabriel and Molly have had a lot of pain, sorrow, and hardship in their lives. Through the attraction and desire to be together, they find themselves, learn to take down the walls and disguises, and find their true selves, with a future, hope, joy, and love. But the story is not all agony and struggle, there's also steaming passionate moments, as well as charming characters with wit and sass. I laughed out loud several times while reading this tale. The message in the story is uplifting and inspiring: "Not to be afraid of life's challenges. Not to be defined by them as... but struggled to overcome them". This series has been a journey, the stories has given some food for thought, while they have been entertaining, enjoyable and fun, books that I want to come back to again. This last addition has it all, sizzling love story, the true struggle life can be sometimes, fantastic friends, joy and humor, all experienced in a small town where people care for each other, look out for each other, and are willing to step up and help when needed. ~ Five Spoons

Fantastic finale to the series! So sad, I think this is the last book in this series at the moment . . . . I’ve really enjoyed them all! When I started reading this one I initially thought it should have been the first in the series as it tells what happened to Josh, his accident at scout camp on Copper Mountain and his rescue. However, having read the whole story, it still makes sense for it to be sixth in the series. In this case, wounded ex Air Force para-rescueman, Gabriel Morales, has holed himself up in a cabin miles from the nearest road. He had a tough time as a child in Marietta but had a great buddy and spent a lot of time with him and his family. That family included a younger sister, Molly Dekker, who had a real crush on him as a teenager. Now she’s heard he’s back and, after encountering him shopping, decides to invite herself to visit him. She’s hoping he’ll not treat her like the ‘nice’ lady as everyone else does. That’s when she hears over the radio that her son is missing . . . . This story had drama and trauma galore. Gabriel and Josh both have serious injuries that will impact on their future lives. Molly doesn’t like not being independent but has to learn to accept help . . . . A superb book relating the impact of injuries on both the adult and child as well as how these affect their families and other people associated with them. A heart wrenching tale that takes readers through the struggles to these great characters achieving their HEA. Definitely highly recommend this and all the other books in the series. Thanks to the author and publishers, too, for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review.
