Overview

Part 3 of an Action-Packed 5-part Serial Novel!

The odds are stacked against them, but Zulu refuses to surrender.  After all the hits they’ve taken, it’d be easy to quit. But Annie, Teya, and Nuala didn’t train so intensely to be part of the first all-female special ops team to let their enemy win. Now that the fight’s been incited so fiercely with Jessie, Candice, and Keeley, the rest of Zulu won’t go down without a fight. They’ll find answers, justice, and vindication for that tragic night they were set up in Misrata. Or die trying.  Giving up isn’t in the bones of Sam Caliguari either—not even after thugs snatch him from Manson. He won’t be muzzled in his effort to get Annie out of trouble.  Annie knows Sam will use every bit of his SEAL training to track her down, but she didn’t expect the tangle of strong feelings she’d have for him and Trace.  Téya never imagined the nightmare that would hit after crossing the deadly path of The Turk. What could he possibly want with her so specifically?
And while Trace anticipates physical threats, he’s also watching his back for the next political fallout, because Francesca Solomon is unyielding in her quest to bring him down.  Will Zulu ever catch a break?

Operation Zulu Redemption: Hazardous Duty - Part 3 has been the most emotion of the episodes for me.  I hate love triangles and this is what we have with Annie and Trace and Sam.  Former SEAL, Sam, will not give up to find Annie, which causes Trace to take matters into his own hands.  He brings Sam to them.  Sam participates in a mission to help them but at what costs. Teya has more encounters with The Turk.  Frankie is still trying to investigate Trace with some help this time.  Once you start reading this series it is hard to stop.   These cannot be read alone. Talk about intense! This is the first serial novel I've read, and it was an interesting format. It felt like a TV drama episode, how it kept switching between points of view to keep the pace fast-moving. The premise of an all-female special forces team definitely caught my attention, and the author made it seem realistic by not making them all best buddies, but individual soldiers with distinctly different strengths and personalities. There is plenty of action and suspense, with some relationship drama thrown in at moments. It was frustrating at first how little the investigating team knew about the case after five years, but each part of the novel quickly adds more information and takes the plot to a whole new level.

I think spine-tingling suspense and danger says it all! No longer hiding in the safe house, the team is now spread out following leads or trying to keep themselves alive.  Unpredictable is the only way I know how to explain what happens next. Ronie loves to follow her own path in writing and not conform to predictable plots. I’m on the edge of my seat reading each page thinking I know what is going to happen, but each character is so unique and special that it takes me on an awesome literary adventure ride.  Great twists in this one, once again.  The Turk, who is after Teya, is not who he seems. Annie is now in the middle of Sam and Trace, with her emotions running wild – talk about love triangle!  We finally see what feelings Nuala is hiding. Will Keeley even make it out of the hospital? Meanwhile, all three Zulu members are still helping to unravel the mess that is Misrata.  There seems no end to the danger and impossible situations they find themselves in. I’m dying for the last episode! In a way, I don’t want it to end, but there are way too many questions and possibilities floating in my mind to let it sit – what a fun way to read a book, episode by episode. You won’t be sorry by getting into this series – I HIGHLY recommend it!!

The fate of multiple agents were left hanging in the balance at the end of Part 2. If your heart survived that ending then you may be ready for Part 3 - Hazardous Duty. Now discover how each member managed to evade death and lived to fight another day.  Still in the slums, Nuala and Teya render aid to an unlikely fellow but will it be enough to settle the vendetta he has against Teya. Rest assured that this is not the last time these two will cross paths. In fact, he dredges up a ghost from Teya’s past in the final scenes.  Sam jumps at the chance to rescue Annie, but her reaction is not quite what he had in mind. Annie is a woman who has a few things to straighten out in the love department. She cannot deny that she has residual feelings for Trace but he nearly cut her heart out when he abandoned her in Manson 5 years ago. And Sam...yeah those feelings were real too.  Trace’s worst fear is realized when he and General Haym Solomon are called to sit before the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Anxious to exonerate her father while simultaneously bringing down Trace Weson, Frankie threatens to reveal the identities of the remaining member of Zulu. Trace cannot let that happen - no matter what! ** I particularly like how the characters Boone, Annie, and Sam all wrestle with matters of faith in this episode. The storyline continues to crescendo towards what is sure to be an explosive ending. MUST KEEP READING!!

With a stunning cliffhanger, Operation Zulu Redemption: Hazardous Duty - Part 3 met and exceeded every expectation possible!  I felt like I was riding at an accelerated speed the whole time I was reading this installment. Not one moment did the momentum lag, but swept me along with an energy so palpable I could almost feel electricity in the air. From crackerjack sniper shots to stealth maneuvering, the depth of dedication and unrelenting determination is unmistakable in Team ZULU. Adding a little more romance into the mix only makes the heart beat more rapidly and the adrenaline flow a little faster. The characters are fascinating, and I am totally stumped in this puzzle of who is behind the hunting down and killing of the team’s members. I’m wholeheartedly looking forward to the conclusion! I was provided a copy from the publisher for review purposes. I am under no obligation to write a positive review, just my honest opinion of the book. No compensation has been received.

My pulse is racing just thinking about Part 3! Sam has been taken...where, you'll find out, but things are heating up like never before. Suddenly, the stakes are raised when Teya realizes she has shot The Turk, the assassin on a mission to take her life. Annie has been captured in Greece and Francesca is still hot on Traces tail. In this third installment of Operation Zulu, you'll be faced with more twists and turns. The question of who is behind Misrata still hangs persistently in the background, while the team faces an onslaught of action as they delve for the truth. What will happen between Sam, Trace, and Annie? Will The Turk die at Teya's hands? Will Francesca get what she want's most of all - to decimate Trace's career and character in the process? Get Part 3 and start reading to find out! Make sure you've read the introduction and parts 1 and 2 to get the complete picture though. You won't regret getting sucked into the melee that is Operation Zulu Redemption! Intense action, romance & plot twists! Hazardous Duty picks up where Out of Nowhere left on a cliff-hanger. Usually at this point in a novel, I have my favorite couple, I can pick out who the "bad guy" is going to be, and the plot is fairly easy to guess moving forward. Not so with Operation Zulu! I feel like I've lived with these characters and while I'm waiting on the edge of my seat for final resolution, the thought of only one more installment is nerve-wracking. Ronie Kendig has actually achieved something I never though possible with love triangles in stories: I can't choose a side! While part of me wants Sam to end up with Annie, I'm attached to Trace and don't want to see him kicked to the sidelines either! Agh! And then there's Nuala and her attachment to Boone, who has Keeley. Amidst the relationship twists, there's all the layers of action and "what is really going on within this story" that keeps you sucked in and unable to put the Kindle down.  I didn't think any story would knock Ronie's "Wolfsbane" out of my top spot, but Operation Zulu just might..or at least earn a tie. Gifted with incredible story-telling and attention to details, Ronie keeps you pulled into the mystery and convinced this can't possibly be fiction. While I can't wait to get my eyes on the final installment, I really don't want the story to end.

Only one part left! Part three of the Operation Zulu Redemption series was my favorite part so far. It is full of twists and turns you don’t see coming. Kendig lets you see the story from so many different points of view and you learn more about the members of the team and who they are at their core. The team is spread out and all fighting dangerous odds. Some not so nice guys have Annie, what are they going to do to her? Can she escape or can the Zulu team get to her in time? Teya and Nuala are desperately trying to find the Lorings. Will they find them? And who did Teya just shoot? I can’t say much without spoiling anything, but you have got to read this whole series! I have no clue how everything is going to end up, and can’t wait to find out! And I totally agree with the summary where it says you will need more!! I know my husband will agree when I say I need the next part now!
