Part 2 of an Action-Packed 5-part Serial Novel!

Zulu races around the world fighting for answers—and their lives!  The remnant of the first all-female Special Forces team, Zulu, will do whatever it takes to determine what really happened that night five years ago—when a trap entangled the team in the deaths of twenty-two innocent people in Misrata, Libya. With Lieutenant Colonel Trace Weston and Boone Ramage leading the way, Annie Palermo, Téya Reiker, and Nuala King are training harder and stronger, digging deeper for clues, and tracking down leads in the U.S. and Europe to clear their names.  Former Navy SEAL Sam Caliguari refuses to believe Annie left of her own free will, not after what they shared. But his determination and efforts to find her have put Zulu at greater risk of being discovered—and eliminated—before they can find the truth.  Francesca Solomon is determined to bring down Trace Weston, whom she believes is responsible for the tragedy in Misrata, for ruining her father’s career, and for tarnishing her family’s good name. When a source gives her pivotal information, Francesca leaps at the chance to make Trace answer for his crimes. Just when things start to turn for Zulu, a member of the team is targeted by one of the world’s deadliest assassins. Then another vanishes. Zulu wants the truth, but they didn’t know it might cost every one of their lives.

Operation Zulu Redemption: Out Of Nowhere By: Ronie Kendig The thrill ride continues! Part 2 has more twists and turns than a roller coaster. It hits highs in action and drama and then dips down into personalities and character clashes. The danger is closer, very real and threatening their lives and their sanity. Team leader, LTC Trace Weston decides to go on the hunt and try to find those responsible before another Zulu team member can be hurt or killed. Though the team is glad to be out of the bunker they are creating even more danger by being seen. One is in the way of an accomplished assassin and become his target. He taunts her and plays with her mind, letting her know that it could happen at any moment and she has no way to stop him. Or does she? Ronie Kendig is an accomplished author with skills that keep us, fans, on our toes. The heart pounding, hold your breath action often has us believing in the story, feeling that the characters are real and praying for their safety and a resolution to the threat. Keep them coming Ms. Kendig! We crave more.

Talk about intense! This is the first serial novel I've read, and it was an interesting format. It felt like a TV drama episode, how it kept switching between points of view to keep the pace fast-moving. The premise of an all-female special forces team definitely caught my attention, and the author made it seem realistic by not making them all best buddies, but individual soldiers with distinctly different strengths and personalities. There is plenty of action and suspense, with some relationship drama thrown in at moments. It was frustrating at first how little the investigating team knew about the case after five years, but each part of the novel quickly adds more information and takes the plot to a whole new level.

The excitement continues to build in Part 2 - Out of Nowhere.  Teya and Annie's trip to Denver was almost lethal, but not without promise. The information they glean from the trip puts them on the hunt for HOMe employee Berg Ballenger - who managed to evaporate into thin air following Misrata.  Sam Caliguari & Francesca Solomon’s meddling continues to dog Traces efforts to protect the team. Tempers flare when Trace calls in his old buddy Quade to polish the ladies fighting skills. Though his presence and grueling workout sessions are not welcomed by the women the training will prove to be valuable in the end. Chock-full of danger, intrigue, and action Ronie Kendig delivers yet again with Rapid-Fire Fiction! The ending will leave you stunned and desperately grasping for the next episode!! To be continued...

I’m trying to think of any positive adjectives that I haven’t already used to describe this series. Truly, the writing is unparalleled. With precision skill, Kendig has drawn me into the lives of Team Zulu. I’m a huge dialogue fan and this is some of the most impressive I have read. Her attention to detail is obvious but not overly done. I find myself not skipping a single word because I might miss something important, it’s that precise. There are some shocking situations that the team is involved in, and yet they are written with so much realism, I have no trouble believing that these events could actually happen. These women are facing formidable opponents and doing some serious butt-kicking. I felt like I was watching Jennifer Garner in Alias! Out of Nowhere ends on another cliffhanger and I am eagerly anticipating the next installment. I was provided a copy from the publisher for review purposes. I am under no obligation to write a positive review, just my honest opinion of the book. No compensation has been received.

The deeper they dig the more trouble they find themselves in.  Trying to follow leads they only end up with someone else out to kill them. Each well-developed character has their own struggles and issues they are fighting while trying to find answers.  Teya crossed someone more powerful than she can handle, Sam dug a little too deep, Frankie got her hand smacked in a big way, Annie is dealing with the past, we discover something about Nuala that wasn’t there before, Boone and Trace are up to their eyeballs in trouble just trying to keep Zulu alive! They get to spread their wings a little more in this episode and thus encounter the extra danger.  Each episode rocks the boat a little more and throws the characters into beautifully written, engaging chaos.  As usual it is on-the-edge-of-your-seat action packed suspense that you cannot put down.  Highly recommend starting from the first episode and read them all!!

And the impossible-to-put-down episodes continue!  This series just keeps getting better with each installment. Where the Intro and first part introduced most of the players and set the story's stage, Out of Nowhere takes the remainder of the elite team out of the hiding bunker and across countries to France and Greece, trying to uncover what really happened during the mission-gone-wrong that destroyed Team Zulu's lives. As has come to be expected of any Ronie Kendig story, this installment is action packed, fast-paced, and impossible to put down as more layers slowly weave together but yet more mystery is tossed into the mix. I love all the characters and it would be hard to pick out a favorite, though I keep secretly wishing that Sam will somehow become part of the team and reunited with Annie. If you have not checked out Operation Zulu yet, what are you waiting for?! I highly recommend adding this series to your e-reader lineup!

Out of Nowhere…what a title! That is just what this installment served up – things that came at the team from out of nowhere! And I mean that in a great way :-) It’s another wild ride, full of action, fighting, shooting…all kinds of pulse pounding stuff! I really enjoy how the author peels back the layers little by little in this series and continues to grow the characters and deepen the storyline. These serial installments truly make me feel like I am watching a television series, such as 24. And just as in that show, the endings have me anxiously awaiting the next one! I will tell you that the ending of Out of Nowhere really took me by surprise (in a good way). I am loving most of the characters…there is one woman that I really do not like, but then, I am obviously not supposed to like her! She drives me crazy with her bullheaded nosiness. But, I just love the other characters and the personalities they each have that make them feel so real. I highly recommend this series. I received a complimentary copy of Out of Nowhere in exchange for an honest review, which I have given.
