Decisions are made and actions are taken. Kayin's life is forever altered, as is his physical appearance and the psychological balance of his mind. Kayin is forced to leave his family and home, to live alone with the realization that he is no longer the man he once was.

Origin is a historical fiction/fantasy novel that gives an inside look into the minds, emotions and life struggles of the early inhabitants of the world. Myth, legend and fact are woven into a believable and colorful tapestry known as humanity.

About the Author

Jason Adam Edwards was born in Pennsylvania in 1971. After serving in the United States Navy, he received his under-graduate and graduate degrees from American InterContinental University, Hoffman Estates, Illinois, where he majored in Computer Science. He has been a computer programmer, web developer and web designer since 1997.

A writer since college, he published his first non-fiction work as an environmental proposal of alternative energy, Brown's Gas For a Green Earth, in a quarterly journal. He and his wife Lora have two daughters, Autumn and Julianna; they live in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

He is a long-time fan of the fantasy and science-fiction genres. His love for reading has influenced his children into being avid readers, mostly fantasy and other fiction sub-genres.

It was this love that drove him to write the style of book his oldest daughter really enjoys. Her favorite authors tend to write slower than she can stand to wait. So Jason decided to do something about that, by writing something himself.
