An epic love story of erotic relationships and sexual desires. The exploration of kinks, fetishes, and sensual pleasures in an open and trusting environment. The blossoming of love. And a strong woman’s journey of discovery, growth, and eventual dominance.

ORIGINS OF A FETISH: Sam has enjoyed a life of success and worldly experiences, shared with the wife he adores. But he has harbored fantasies and fetishes morphed from childhood incidents, which are now a deep part of his psyche. As the Internet accelerated Sam's education of the fetish world, his desires outpaced his ability to satisfy his cravings. Then, tragedy strikes. Sam must now redefine his priorities and his life. He seeks a way to fulfill his deepest needs. To share intimacy, openness, and trust with a younger woman. And to introduce her to new experiences of the submissive kind.

EXPERIENCES is a story of female empowerment and a social commentary on roles and relationships in modern society. The prequel introduces Sam, and the story follows the evolution of his intimate relationship with Kelly as the series progresses. Fantasies and real-world adventures mold a unique bond between unlikely lovers.

Spanning 8 books and 3100 pages, the EXPERIENCES saga opens readers’ eyes to new possibilities. Perspectives on love, sex, and nudity are challenged, as the main characters explore a mind-boggling range of fantasies, fetishes, sexual orientations, and lifestyles.

EXPERIENCES combines thoughtful discussion by the characters with graphic descriptions of their erotic adventures. It represents a new literary genre, Intelligent Erotic Romance.

Contemporary erotic romance: Suitable for mature readers, aged 18+ years.
Experiences: Book 1 (prequel) is 26,800 words, 7 chapters, 101 print pages

About the Author

An adventuress and traveler, Simone is a sensual being who loves to read stories that excite her. She takes exception to authors who promote their works as ‘dirty’, ‘filthy’, or ‘smutty’: She believes that sex is wonderful in all of its incarnations, and doesn’t shy away from graphic descriptions of realistic sexual experiences, no matter how messy. Her writing is mainly in the ‘literary realism’ style – i.e., it is wild (even outrageous) … but could really happen to you! She values openness in relationships, and demonstrates this through her characters. Prior to becoming an author, Simone was a nurse. One of her pet peeves is reading erotica that gets simple anatomy wrong! She is continually bewildered by women who haven’t explored their own bodies. Another pet peeve is the mostly hung-up Victorian society prevalent in the U.S., and she tries her hardest to change that by introducing people to new sexual and sensual experiences through her erotic writing. The activities in Simone’s books are quite realistic, as she has participated in most of these in ‘real life’, as surreal as it may seem. Simone is currently completing the Experiences series, which will run an estimated 1,000,000 words! That is why she refers to it as an ‘epic’ romance, although each volume is intended to stand on its own, with a ‘happy for now’ ending. Experiences is an attempt to combine literary style and philosophical discussion by the characters with graphic portrayal of sex in all of its kinks and fetishes. You may not like all of the things Simone’s characters do … but neither do they. Their exploration of new experiences will hopefully motivate some readers to explore their own sexuality to a greater extent. Simone loves to hear from her readers, so feel free to contact her. In fact, she hopes you will feel ‘free’ sexually and spiritually, as well. Please follow her on social media and her blog. On her website, you may interact directly with the main characters in her books, including asking them questions in order to understand their perspectives in more depth.

Intensely erotic and sexy The title says it all. Sam finds a way to finally share his hidden fantasies and fetishes. This book reads well and brings the reader into the story, and could be the start of someone's guilty pleasure. Entering the world where mental, sexual and physical boundaries are pushed beyond the limits, it brings the reader into a new level of sex and erotica, which are joined with love, not confused or blurred ... if you like the exploration of the deep kinky side, this is just the book to start with ... as it's a prequel to more intimacy.

Erotic, sexy, imaginative, and descriptive. When I read the title “Origins of a Fetish” I imagined it would be the typical erotic novel about a man and a woman having a relationship that was enticing to read about, but what surprised me was this is written by a man and it is about multiple people carrying on sexual relationships with others. Since I was expecting a relationship between two people I was a little confused when reading the beginning, but after I caught on I enjoyed reading the descriptive scenes. I am also American and liked reading about other’s sexual escapades and what is more acceptable in other countries.

This is a novel that is about the world of Sam, who wants to live out all of his fantasies. We get to meet several interesting characters in the book and what is great is that while it is surrounded by stories of fetishes and eroticism, it never becomes cheap or tawdry – in fact, there's a real story here that keeps you interested and ready to turn the page, or in my case, press the screen on your Kindle. It's a novel that takes you on a journey, one where Sam may just find out if he needs love to make his fantasies come true or if sex alone without love is enough to keep him satisfied.

Sam is married and successful, seemingly living a wonderful life. He conceals childhood experiences that have shaped some of his darkest desires. After tragedy strikes and he loses the love of his life, he wants to explore his wildest fantasies of submission and other fetishes. To fulfill these needs, he seeks intimacy with a younger woman. Freier’s opening book in the Experiences series, Origins of a Fetish, doesn’t disappoint. I should point out that it’s definitely a novel for mature audiences only. Some of the material could make the sensitive reader uncomfortable. Very graphic in detail, but a great read nonetheless. Exciting read!

I always find it interesting when authors write in the opposite gender. When I was writing I did this myself as a way of greater escapism, or perhaps it was because I idolized Tennessee Williams so much and he did this frequently. However, that being said, I would have never guess the author was female if I didn't see her name. This is a pretty awesome feat as so many can't pull it off. The dialogue in this book is top notch. It flows perfectly without any of those awkward responses that many have. This made the book flow smoothly. The detailing is great too, although at times I would drift off in my own thoughts because of the heavy detailing. I love the fact that the book actually seems to be edited, which isn't the case with a lot of indie books. I look forward to the next two book, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the books could easily be combined into one longer novel. We shall see how the story unfolds. I think I will be able to give a better review after I've finished the series!

I was “turned on” to this book (wink wink!) by a friend, because they had read it, and the next one in the series just came out, so I decided to jump in with the first book. I ended up reading both over a weekend, so that should give you some sense as to whether I liked it or not! This book centers on the lives of Sam. The first life includes his wife, who he loves very much. The second life comes about after she tragically passes away. He is obviously heartbroken, but he suddenly has this newfound freedom to explore his fantasies and fetishes that he felt he could not share with her. It shows his relationship with Kelly grow, and the more they trust each other, the further down the road of their fantasies they are willing to go. It is a very fascinating read. This book is about half as long as the next in the series, but it sets up the story very nicely. It give s a good glimpse of where Sam comes from in his relationship with his wife, and the evolution from that relationship to the one he has with Kelly. It is an interesting read, and set as an excellent lead-in to the second book, which is a much meatier read overall. If frank and in-depth discussion and description of sex makes you uncomfortable, then you might not be into this book. But then again, you probably wouldn’t get as far as reading reviews for this book if that’s how you feel about the subject matter. But it is a very good read, that falls more on the “realistic” side of sexual fantasy, instead of the “perfect” and “fantastical” side of sexual fantasies.

Simone Frier delivers an unforgettable, sexy, erotic novel that is sure to keep you wanting more. It is well written, fast paced, and a true page turner. Origins of a Fetish mainly focuses on the intense fetish Sam has; to be able to “punish” a woman sexually. He has seen it done many times in pornographic movies, but he hasn't been lucky enough to find a partner who will actually allow him to do it. Several characters are introduced during this novel; his wife Sarah, Hank, and Zoe. Sarah and Sam lived a promiscuous lifestyle, telling about their past sexual experiences. They participated in an open relationship; one where they were able to, “play” with others, as long as certain boundaries weren't crossed. After a tragic accident, Sarah died, leaving Sam completely on his own. Still wishing to live out his fantasies, he finally meets Liz, who is opened to giving Sam exactly what he's always wanted. The story comes to an end with Sam finally living out his fantasies. He doesn't end up with her, but he will always remember his dream come true. Overall, this is an extremely sexy novel that is filled with substance, and will leave you questioning your own beliefs on sex. Can sex really exist without love? Can love exist without sex? These are just some questions that come into play while reading. If you enjoy erotic fiction, I would highly recommend Origins of a Fetish. Can't wait to read the next one!

The evolving fantasies and fetishes of a gentleman Simone Freier offers no information about her background but reading her new works certainly adds respect for her talent as a writer of erotic literature. And just as foreplay is the key to satisfying sex, Freier starts this her first book in a series of books labeled EXPERIENCES with some well written suggestive but not pornographic storyline. Once the reader catches the drift of her intent the urge is to stay with the book to see how far she will escort us into the world of sexual fetishes.Freier starts her odyssey with a very credible gathering of an ex-hippie American couple - Sam and Sarah - inviting a Dutch couple Henk and Zoë toothier home for an Indonesian `reistaffel' and that leads into a discussion of the differences between American and European openness about nudity and experimentation. They enjoy their dinner, the pool and sauna and showers and Hank explains his and Sarah's approach to openness: "This definition of sex is quite precise. It precludes genital-genital, genital-anal, anal-anal (how do you do that?), oral-genital, oral-anal ... and, yes, even oral- oral contact. So kissing would be considered `sex'. In fact, by this definition, even eating or drinking after each other would be considered sex! This may be too strict a definition for some people, but it is entirely practical. And, when you think about it, this definition allows EVERYTHING ELSE to be a possibility! There are a lot of things two people can do to have fun together that do not involve fluid contact. However, I would admit that most people (both men and women) do not have the self-control to have such a relationship." What gradually follows is Hank's admission that he is in to punishment and `medical sex' (needles, rectal temps, enemas - anything dealing with the female buttocks). He encounters a friend Sheila and experiments with these fetishes with her. Trouble intervenes when Sarah dies in an auto accident and Hank grieves. During his grief he begins to watch sexual episodes on the Internet and begins to refurnish his home with a basement equipped for punishment (spanking, pain, submission experiments, whips, floggers, and leather paddles) and his upstairs as a medical office with all manner of needles, enemas, rectal thermometers etc. Hank has remained a loner until he hooks up with his neighbor Liz and together they explore the world of submission and punishment and all the fetishes that deal with medical erotica. But Liz is married and Hank's fantasies return to the Internet: ` I had a great place to play, and lots of toys ... but nobody to play with - or even a vision of how this would ever be more than wasted space in my basement.' He molds his Punishment Agreements reading his location for further adventures that likely will follow in further books! Simone Freier, unlike other erotica writers, uses restraint to make her writing much more sensual. It will be interesting to follow this talented author as she further explores the boundaries of gratification. Grady Harp, August 14

This is far more interesting from a story-based perspective than one might expect from the average erotic novel. Rather than writing a novel in which sex is thrown into the storyline at random (or as in some cases, story is randomly thrown in amongst the sex), author Simone Freier has written a storyline that is actually driven by sex. In other words, this is in many ways simply a well-written novel made stronger by the keen descriptions of the protagonist’s sex life. This is essentially a romance novel with two different types of romance. The first is the relationship between the main character, Sam, and his wife, Sarah. The other type of romance is the erotic flights of fancy Sam experiences with a couple of different characters during the novel. For a little less than half of the novel, both of these exist to some extent. Then, one overtakes the other as Sam loses Sarah and needs to find an escape “into the fantasies of pain, from the reality of pain.” After two years of grieving, he begins to explore his sexual fantasies more deeply than ever before. This marks the beginning of a journey that may have the potential to change his perceptions of both love and sex. Even before the death of his wife, Sam learns that he is becoming as turned on by openness as by submission. At the end of the book, after a parting of ways with his most open partner to that point, he decides that it is time to seek someone young, someone who will learn from her experiences with him. This helps to set up the second novel, which revolves around just such a relationship. This novel is rather short, but it is an efficient setup to a much larger story.

Sam and Sarah have been successful and traveled most of their adult life.  They know each other very well.  Their friends know they have an open marriage in many respects. Friends don't always understand it but they respect it.  When friends come to visit from Holland, Sam begins a conversation about fantasies and fetishes.  Everyone is having a great evening and conversation is flowing.  A few weeks later, Sarah dies and Sam is lost.        This book is written very well. The characters are a little stiff though.  I enjoyed the idea of the book, however the book reads more like a manual than an  erotic adult book.  I found everyone's actions and thoughts a little wooden.  I can't imagine people who really act or think the way they do in this book.        I did find issues.  It begins as though it's gonna knock your socks off and then drops the ball.  It needs some work to become what it's meant to be.      I gave this one 2 cheers out of 5 because it just doesn't deliver.  ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~
