Overview

This is a heart-wrenching collection of poetry depicting many who have suffered trauma, ridicule, bullying and self identity. This collection also deals with the loss of loved ones through death and abandonment and visualization through words of the struggles that people who are unique experience. This collection is not designed for those that are expecting an uplifting reading or poetry written about unicorns and rainbows. This book is dark, deep and very emotional, but there are also several beams of light and hope in his writings.

About the Author

Joseph Brutto is seventeen and has lived most of his life in Louisiana where he currently resides with his mother and older brother Cole.
Joseph had his first work published at the age of ten and since has been published multiple times for his poems and prose since late 2012 when life events created this writing outlet for him.
All readers will find his work very emotional, a little dark, but very deep.
