About the Author

After childhood plans to become the captain of a starship didn’t pan out, Suzanne Brockmann took her fascination with military history, her respect for the men and women who serve, her reverence for diversity, and her love of storytelling, and explored brave new worlds as a New York Times bestselling romance author. Over the past twenty years she has written more than fifty-five novels, including her award-winning Troubleshooters series about Navy SEAL heroes and the women—and sometimes men—who win their hearts.
In addition to writing books, Suzanne Brockmann has co-produced several feature-length indie movies, the rom-com The Perfect Wedding, and the upcoming thriller Russian Doll. She has also created an #OwnVoices line of m/m category romantic comedy novellas called Suzanne Brockmann Presents.

The series needs to have an ending. I am loosing interest as each story seems to be too much like the last. They are starting to get a little unbelievable.

This story was pretty cute! It's obvious from the beginning that Preston and Molly will wind up together, but the ride was still fun. Molly's son Zander is hearing impaired and Preston does some pretty cool stuff for him. Obviously, this helps Molly realize just how great of a guy Pres really is. There wasn't much turmoil for the two of them to work through. The whole publicity mess and the fake engagement really wasn't a big deal and I was surprised that there wasn't something more for them to overcome. Overall, it's a fun, light-hearted, feel-good read. There's not much that sticks with you about it, when you're done, but I plan on enjoying more from this author.

I love recent brockman books, but this is bad! Boring and predictable!
