What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

“Through decades of quadriplegia, I have learned that when you’re hemorrhaging human pain, answers—even if they are good, right, and true—can sting like salt in a wound. Answers don’t always suffice when a suffering soul must sit alone, bear the agony and . . . wait. But to wait on the Lord is to, indeed, find solace in suffering, and Martin Bass underscores this poignantly in his new bookOur Dark Night of the Soul.Yes, affliction is a mystery, but it is not a mystery without direction. Thank you, Martin, for shedding light into that dark night.” – Joni Eareckson Tada, Joni and Friends International Disability Center

“Jesus said, ‘In the world you will have tribulation,’ and Christians are not excluded from that temporal and external reality. What we can have isan internal and eternal peace of God. Fewpeople are as equipped as my friend Martin Bass toteach you how to findsolace when you are engulfed by the inevitable sufferings of this passing world. This book will prepare you forthosedark nights of thesoul, and reveal how God can sustain you until morning comes again.” -Dr. Neil T. Anderson, founder and president emeritus of Freedom in Christ Ministries

“We all hope that living a life of integrity, faith, and goodness will assure us of nothing but happiness and peace. But the reality is that sometimes life offers us the unexpected. Our Dark Night of the Soul is a personal story of devastation and the journey through unexpected heartache to renewed faith and inspiration.” -Dan Miller, life coach and authorof Wisdom meets Passion
