Erin Nicholas hits another one out of the ball park. I haven't read anything my Erin that I didn't completely fall in love with. This new series is going to be a winner teaming up with Mari Carr and Cari Quinn. That is like an author powerhouse right there. Not only is Erin one of my favorite writers but to have a series written by her and two other authors that are just as amazing has success written all over it. Like many of Erin's books the characters are almost immediately lovable and they are the kind of people I would want to hang out with and be friends with. Jackson is introduced right at the beginning of the book and you can tell he has a bit of a troubled past and holds onto his past and doesn't know how to forgive himself for the mistakes he has made. He makes it his life's work to make amends for his screw ups early on in life. Annabelle is the sweet, quiet girl next door that everyone loves but inside she has a desire to be the bad girl at list a little bit. These two were meant for each other and have a way of balancing each other out that you can't help but root for them to find a way to be together. Starting off with this book in the series only makes me excited for the rest of the books in the series. Definitely a must read!

Oh the more of Erin's books I read the more I love her stories. Jackson had NO IDEA how much his life was going to change going back to Quinn and helping Coach out. He knew he had an unpayable debt to the man that was his father figure/mentor but wow did going home pay out in spades! Annabelle, nka AJ is the town's goodie-two-shoes who blew the whistle on Jackson his senior year and exploded his whole life. "Still, there had been a long period of time when she was sure he had a voodoo doll of her or her picture pinned to a dartboard or both." (awesome picture) She is the first person he had to "impress" to get the conselor job and the school in order to stay. I think he did that extremely well considering ..."By smiling alone he could make her melt a little. Lip to lip...she'd probably lose too many brain cells and find herself unable to remember how to even make a sandwich." It just gets better from there! Love this series! Awesome authors!

I enjoyed this book much more than Free Agent by Mari Carr. The characters Jackson and Annabelle are complete opposits but are so meant to be together. The chemistry between them is off the charts smokin hot! And the sex is freakin amazing. At times I laughed and times I cried but most of the time I was just reading with a cat that ate the canary gin on my face. Lol. I highly recommend this book to everyone. There's love, friendship, romance and some really freakin amazing sex. Lol. Who could ask for more? Lol.

I’m a red blooded American female and I love football and the men who play it. So a series of books about a high school football team and the men those players became, written by three best-selling authors? Sign me up! Mari Carr, Cari Quinn and Erin Nicholas team up to bring us a sexy and fun trip through the fictional town of Quinn, Texas, a town where football is king and men are made. I admit that the idea of separate authors writing on essentially the same larger story put me off a bit but I was truly amazed at how well the stories meshed and intertwined, actually occurring in the same time frame as each other. The writing of each story reflects the individual styles of each author, varying in how each approaches their characters and their situations. The main characters are well-developed and very likeable. While the main characters appear in each other’s stories, they aren’t supporting characters, keeping the stories separate but equal. The one constant throughout is Coach Carr, the man who led these men to their state championship twelve years before and the reason they’ve all returned to Quinn. Coach is a lovable and wonderful character, much like my own Coach Carr, my wonderful husband of thirty-plus years. There’s something for everyone in Quinn, Texas and I would definitely check this series out.

The three books in this series - Boys of Fall - were excellent... A high school football team that won the State Championship years ago and who have gone on to find their futures elsewhere are called back to the small Texas town by the heart attack that felled their coach... In coming back to help their "father figure" they find that what they really needed was right in front of them all the time... Love, romance and the girls who did (or in one case didn't) wait for them... Short, (like 140 Nook pages) but just the kind of stories I like to have in my library for when I don't have a lot of time to read... Well written and very real life...

Anyone that follows this site knows I love me some Erin Nicholas crack...I mean books. I was very excited when I was asked if I wanted to review the books in this series. Jackson and Annabelle were definitely my favorite out of the Boys of Fall so far. We have some crazy stuff that happened between the two characters in the past that did some damage to Jackson (Of course, what he was doing was pretty taboo...). He always had a bad boy rep, but after this incident, he was taken out of the championship-winning football game that would have defined his career. He moved away from town and straightened out his life, and is doing a lot of good for some disadvantaged boys. After Coach suffers his heart attack and Jackson is asked to come back to Quinn, Texas and help out around the ranch, Jackson figures Quinn is the perfect place to continue giving back to the community. But as small towns go, they don't like change and the unknown. And Jackson knows Annabelle, the same Annabelle who got him in trouble twelve years ago, is the perfect person to show the community he has changed. I loved sweet Annabelle. I think she is exactly what Jackson needs. Their chemistry was definitely blazing from page one. I think they both helped each other grow more comfortable with themselves just fit. And Jackson, whoo boy! Where can I find me a Jackson? I love strong male characters who know what they are doing. I loved being able to read about all the other characters, knowing I'll be able to read their stories in the future. The whole dynamic of all the guys in Quinn is great. You can tell the old players still have that unspoken bond that a lot of people envy and want. And the other characters added an additional element to the stories that made it that much more enjoyable! So in short, go get Erin's Out of Bounds (and the others by Cari Quinn and Mari Carr) now. You will be sucked into the awesomeness these three phenomenal authors create!

Out of Bounds is a part of a new series that I personally think is is awesome! I honestly don't normally read that many books about sports but because I already liked this author, I knew I had to try this one! And I was sooooo not disappointed! I loved Jackson and Annabelles story!! I love "pretend" relationships because we all know how they actually turn out! ;) Jackson of course was my perfect kind of hero! Alpha yet sweet too! I really loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series from the other authors!

Jackson truly left town as the trouble maker and worked hard to change his life. He gets called home to help out his old coach and realizes he wants to stay. He wants to do in his hometown what he did in Omaha. To do that he needs to prove to the town he has changed and is worth investing in. So he starts to date Annabelle the towns perfect citizen, little did the two know it would lead to love.

I think I am in love! A purple 1969 Pontiac GTO has stolen my heart. I am a lover of muscle cars and big trucks. This fact in the book just sweetened the deal for me.   I loved Annabelle and Jackson's story. I could totally relate to Annabelle. I have been known to be a quiet, reserved good girl with a bad girl wanting to break free. And Annabelle was a whole lot of fun to read explore her inner self. She could dish it out and I enjoyed every second.  Jackson was major swoon worthy. A strong male but with vulnerabilities that made you want to hug him. And so very hot, especially with his words. Oh momma mia, bring the fan. Their story was sweet, hot, fun, full of mutual respect and admiration. Loved how they were more concerned with others than themselves. I look forward to reading the other books in this series.

Break out your fans people cause this story is H*O*T! An alpha hero this sexy, drives panty wetting fast cars and talks dirty?  *sigh* sign me up for one of those please! Jackson still likes to push the limits but is also very loyal and loving. He cares enough about his hometown that he’s willing to tamp down his own persona to become “respectful” in their eyes. Annabelle well I can see myself in her. I confess that I too have gone out for the evening while secretly hoping to get home early enough so I’m able to finish a book.  Her tattoos and the story behind them is just lovely and yet shows a hint of a wild side.  What do you get when you have a sexy ex-football player who loves to push limits and a shy school teacher with a rebellious side? One helluva hot story! Out of Bounds is part of the Boys of Fall series with stories from Cari Quinn and Mari Carr coming out simultaneously.  The series is about former football players from Quinn, a small town in Texas. They are brought back together when they return to help after their high school coach suffers a heart attack. Jackson Brady, the bad boy of Quinn, Texas has come back home. As a young man he was always pushing the limits, both on the field and off, until one day it catches up to him. It’s been 12 years since his world imploded and he’s returning home a changed man.  Now he just needs to prove it to his home town.  Annabelle Hartington was a typical shy, introvert in high school. She was for the most part invisible to the majority of her classmates but saw and noticed far more than anybody thought. Having Jackson get in trouble was the last thing she wanted but Annabelle couldn't forget what she had seen.  Smoldering emotions from the events 12 years ago instantly cause sparks to erupt between Jackson and Annabelle when they meet again. He needs her help to make a good impression, to show the town that he is a changed man. She needs his help shedding her shy , school teacher image so that other men will finally take notice. I freely admit I’m a bit biased when it comes to Erin Nicholas books and by biased I mean I know when I pick one up it’s going to be fantastic. It’s going to have laughter, romance, great characters that you love and of course really hot steamy sex! This story does not disappoint.

You know what I love better than a sexy football player? Nothing. Unless you count Erin Nicholas's books about sexy football players. She's written a few and yeah, I love those quite a bit. Out of Bounds, however, is about a former high school football star that grew up to be a sexy hero. My second favorite thing about Erin Nicholas's books besides sexy heroes, her strong heroines. Even the strongest heroine needs a little sexy cowboy/former high school football star-rebel love. I should add on that list of things I love is Erin Nicholas's ability to make me imagine anyone with the name Annabelle could be beautiful and sexy. Hindsight (of teenage choices) is often 20/20, but the choices people make shape them into the adults they become. Jackson and Annabelle are perfect examples of teens who made some tough choices but turned out to be some pretty amazing adults. Erin Nicholas did a wonderful job bringing two characters together to find understanding and common ground...and a some HOTNESS. I absolutely love Erin's work. I love her voice. I love her humor. I love her strong men (just enough alpha to be hot without being a jerk). All her stories are fresh!! Yes, fresh. There are no two alike. They are all different, but written in such a way that you know that voice and humor can only be an Erin Nicholas story. And Erin Nicholas knows how to write a HOT story. Whooo! I highly recommend the story as well as all the stories in the Boys of Fall series.

I loved this book! The dialogue and connection between the characters was great, not to mention hot! Jackson is a reformed bad boy. He feels he has to prove himself to his hometown after his actions in HS had him thrown off the football team right before the championship game. Annabelle was the overlooked bookworm in HS, but she observed everything happening around her. She's tired of still being overlooked in her hometown, 12 years later. She and Jackson work together to improve each other's image and find more than they'd bargained for. This is a great addition to the multi-author 'Boys of Fall' series!

Ahhh! There ain't nothing hotter in Texas than football except maybe the players. I love stories of coming home and finding your place. That's what Jackson Brady did. The second he stepped foot in his hometown he knew he was back for good. The reformed bad boy just didn't think he'd also find love with, of all girls, the one who he felt kept him from playing in the big state championship game in high school, Annabelle Hartington. Annabelle's the perennial good girl just looking for a reason to muss up her hair. She finds that in Jackson and his purple '69 GTO. You know a writer can create great characters when you see yourself in them. That's exactly what this author does time and again. Every good girl needs a bad boy like Jackson. I'll take two if you don't mind and give them each a fast muscle car please.

In the Boys of Fall series, this book is about Jackson Brady and Annabelle Hartington.  Choices made in high school by both Jackson and Annabelle have long reaching memories.  When Jackson comes back to town years later, to help out his old high school football coach, Annabelle is the one he needs to see about applying for a job as a guidance counselor at the high school.  With old hurts rehashed and put away, Annabelle and Jackson embark on an adventure together that will make him seem more settled and her seem a little less conservative but what actually happens surprises EVERYONE! There's a warning at the beginning of the book.  Take my advise and heed this warning.  The sizzle factor in this book is off-the-charts! Jackson has done a lot of good to make up for the bad choices he made as a youth.  Annabelle is a good girl with an inner bad girl just waiting for the right man to bring it out.  I love Annabelle's strong character.  She makes no apology for living by a strong set of morals.  These two set the sheets on fire!   Jackson is one sexy dirty talker and I have a new appreciation for muscle cars.  This is a MUST read for those looking for that hotter than sin, small Texas town romance.  I can't wait to read more from this series and this author.  Outstanding!

Holy Hotness! What a great read from Erin Nicholas. She never disappoints with great characters and a happily ever after. I just wanted it to be longer! Rumor is that there are more books in the series coming, so I am definitely looking forward to that.
