Out of the Blue (Blackwood Security, #6) based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
Intriguing, fast paced, exciting with a few unexpected twists, as only Elise Noble can create. Her characters come alive and her descriptions put you right there in the room (or desert ). Telling the story of a character introduced earlier in the series (Jed), it can be enjoyed as a standalone book. Could not put it down.
Wow! I couldn't put this book down! Best Series Ever! Action packed, funny, romantic and suspenseful! I loved the smarts of Francesca (Chess) the main female character and the wit, looks, and problem solving ability of Jared (Jed) the main male character. And talk about chemistry! I loved that Azael (an Ebola like virus) was almost the third main character! Add in the main Blackwood Security characters and this book is off-the-charts amazing!!! A brilliant scientist driven by loss, fueled by the love of her younger, sick sister, and being forced by her step-dad to marry a man she hates, Chess’ life plunges into chaos when she wakes up married to a different, intriguing, sexy man and then gets thrown into a battle with a new, deadly virus that is killing 95% of the infected. Under the direction of the President of the United States, can Chess, the CDC, and Blackwood Security contain and create a vaccine to prevent a worldwide epidemic of this plague? No cliff hangers even though it is part of a series. Guaranteed HEA. WARNING: you will want to read ALL of the Blackwood Security Series if you read this book! Adult language (cussing), sex and violence are all minor players in this book, so if you are looking for a pristine, clean book, this is not the book for you. If you like strong, smart women, alpha ex-military men, some sex, sarcasm and sass, this is the book (series) for you!!! I recommend starting with book 1 of the series (Into the Black) as they all build upon each other and have some of the same characters and the storylines intertwine with the other books in the series that are magical if you are reading them in order, but it is not necessary to truly enjoy this book! I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book... lucky me!!!
