About the Author
From 1973, she resided in or near Jacksonville, FL, but recently moved just a few miles north to a small town in Georgia.
Following the demise of her 25-year marriage, Wanda began writing in earnest. In the past ten years, she has penned one novel, two books of poetry, hundreds of poems, a cookbook and a couple of non-fiction works.
To compliment her writings, Wanda made two spoken word recordings of her poetry, now available through CD BABY and most digital download sites. She recently finished and published, ONE WOMAN'S ROMANTIC SOUL, a collection of her romantic poetry and poetic prose, and is working on her second novel.
In 1999, Wanda won Third Place in the international VOICES OF SERENITY competition, sponsored by The Ancient Wind Press for her poem entitled I SHALL. Her work has received several Editors' Choice awards, numerous honorable mention honors, and is published in more than a few poetry anthologies in the US and the England.
Wanda is known from Roanoke to Russia and from Alabama to Africa for her romantic impressions and down-to-earth style.
