About the Author
V.S. Holmes lives with her artist partner in a Tiny House (yes, like the FYI television show) and owns far too many books for such a small abode. Her favorite genres include fantasy, science (of both the non-fiction and fiction varieties), and most anything else she finds in her hands. Holmes graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She has a particular interest in prehistoric peoples and stone tools. When not writing, she works as a contract archaeologist doing Cultural Resource Management throughout the northeastern U.S. In addition to REFORGED and the NEL BENTLY BOOKS, she has published short fiction in Vitality Magazine.
R.T. Donlon spends his mornings with coffee in hand and computer open to his next novel in progress. He is a high school teacher by day, a basketball coach by night, and an author everywhere in between. He is the author of a zombie-tale thriller called Walls, a supernatural fantasy novel called The Reaper Trials, and now, a 12-part fantasy epic called The Edge of a New Beginning: Book 1 of the City of Shadow & Dust Series. R.T. Donlon is fascinated by the idea of humanity transcending the impossible. Corrupt kings, angry gods, zombie-killing gunmen, mysterious monsters, and vengeful demons are just some of the characters that fill the pages of his work, but the focal ones are human—real, unmitigated humans. It is in those characters where the true story lies. Science fiction and fantasy may be born in the imagination, but it’s the characters that make them real.
Cameron J Quinn is an author of Paranormal Romance, Horror, Urban Fantasy, and Thriller genres. THE STARSBORO CHRONICLES, a series of ten Urban Fantasy novelettes (she didn’t know it was a thing either until her editor told her) will be released in episodes starting in January of 2016. As Marissa Frosch she works as the Head of Marketing at Amphibian Press; a small press dedicated to helping independent authors navigate the publishing ocean. Her home is in central New England with her husband, two young sons, and too many animals to mention, but she hopes to travel a bit before truly settling down. Cameron was born and raised on a fifteen-acre farm in New Hampshire. They did not rely on the livestock for money but rather enjoyed having chickens for fresh eggs and cows for fresh milk. The woods surrounding the farm, was where her first stories of Fairy Princesses were born. Now, having moved on from those tales she still takes to the woods to create the characters and worlds we have come to love.
Ariele Sieling has been a writer for her entire life, writing her first book as an eleven-year-old, called The Mystery House. Since then, she has pursued the art of writing in a variety of forms, from short stories and essays, to newspaper articles, newsletters, classroom curriculum, and novels. Sieling writes science fiction, and works to blend the potential for human capacity and future technology with a little bit of humor. She is author of The Clock Winked, and will be releasing The Lonely Whelk next spring. She lives in New Hampshire with her two cats, Goblin and Rowan.
