No one writes a story like CD Reiss, absolutely no one. What a great conclusion Over the Edge is for The Edge series!! I had no idea at all how CD Reiss was going to be able to wrap this one up, but wrap it up she did. Wow!! Over the Edge is the perfect conclusion to this absolutely masterfully crafted psychologically thrilling story. During the first three books in the series we see Grayson's strength in helping Caden battle his demons and the events of his past that he refuses to fully acknowledge and accept, which lead to the appearance of his demons, but towards the end of book three we see a turn, and here in book 4, we truly see Caden become the strength and fighter that Greyson needs him to be. Caden becomes the one fighting wholeheartedly for their marriage, their love, and their sanity. He is the one holding Greyson together now, and whether he realized it or not, he had been holding her together from the beginning. This is one couple that will go to the extremes for each other, that is how much they love each other. Caden and Greyson are a perfect match. So, as a reader, you should be prepared for a psychological ride that will have you afraid to continue, but at the same time afraid not to continue, because you need to know how everything will come together in the end. Over the Edge, actually the entire series, is one scary, dark, twisted, mind bending roller coaster of a ride that you will not want to get off. This series is absolutely brilliant.

Author C.D. Reiss’ talent shines through in Over The Edge, the final installment of The Edge Series. Just like what you’ve imagined a descent into madness would be, The Edge Series started dark, became darker with despair and worry setting in, and then, in Over The Edge, the fog slowly lifts and there is eventual light and hope. Greyson and Caden are an enviable couple. They are individually successful and highly regarded. They are madly and deeply in love and fully committed to each other. Through the series, PTSD and intrigue have shrouded their love, but that love has never wavered. I loved how each of these characters had their own battles, and how their “other half” was strong, supportive, and protective during those battles. Caden’s sacrifice in Over The Edge is nothing short of swoony-sigh worthy. I was completely shocked at the story’s zenith. I was in disbelief that Ms. Reiss would take the route she did. With my mouth agape and my heart racing, I read on and found something else entirely. All is revealed in this final installment, and C.D. Reiss has out down herself. As usual, her research and respectful treatment of topics is evident in this emotional, dark romance. Greyson and Caden’s love is epic and had me free falling for this enthralling series conclusion.

There isn’t a whole lot of detail I can get in without revealing how this book ends. I have been in a book hangover since finishing it over the weekend and I don’t even know how to put into words what I feel even 4 days later. I loved this series. It pulled me in from the beginning and I didn’t know what kind of a mind f*** I was in for. I was surprised around every corner, and Christine found a way to really make me question my own sanity. This series was everything I needed, and this book was everything it needed to be to wrap up this mind-altering journey of Greyson and Caden. In the final book of the series, Greyson fights for her own sanity and Caden must journey along with her to protect her from the depths of her own mind. I have loved these two since day one and seeing their struggles as they deal with the aftermath of a war, being thrown back into it, and seeing how they come out of it was simply a voyage I never envisioned possible for them. They are both very strong characters and that is fully put to the test in Over the Edge. I loved everything about it and am so sad it’s over but will say it’s one of the best series to read this year. If you are looking for something different and will pull you apart as it’s putting you back together, this is the series for you! What a conclusion to The Edge series…WOW. Just WOW!

Oh My Goodness!! The conclusion to the Edge Series is a heart stopper. Over the Edge is such an appropriate title. The thrilling love story of Caden and Grey continues with more questions of the past, more drama, more angst, and more surprises. I really enjoyed this well-written series, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat not wanting to pause at any point. I recommend these books with lots of action, love and psychological twists.

This is one of my new favorite series. Each book had me gasping out loud and I don't do that. I was on edge trying to read it faster just to know what was going to happen next and there was nothing to prepare for it . I love the way Greyson and Caden push each other, hold on to one another, and how committed they are not only to each other but to their beliefs. I'm not going to give a summary of the book or the series because I don't want to give anything away you just have to read it for yourself & see how amazing this story is and what an amazing author CD Reiss is!

A mind f#@k of epic proportions! Jeez, C.D. Reiss didn't hold anything back in the thrilling conclusion to this epic series. You want passion, check. You want angst, check. You want a brilliant and unexpected storyline, double check. Over the Edge will take you to the edge of your seat, and then forces you to jump way over it. What a spectacular display of intense emotions, a gripping and twisty plot, and these characters stay in your heart for long after you read it. Sit down, buckle up, and enjoy the ride!

The Edge Series is nothing short of a brilliant psychological erotic romance!!! And my gosh is it ever perfectly titled, because I was absolutely on the edge throughout each book, never knowing what was going to happen next, completely shocked and awed with every twist and revelation! Over the Edge is the conclusion of the Edge Series, of Greyson and Caden's intense mind-bending heart-pounding love story, and it's everything that it should be and nothing that I ever could have predicted, and it was PERFECT!! It's shocking and exhilarating, so stunningly erotic, and kept my mind spinning while absorbing every single detail and I could not put it down until I fell Over the Edge right along with Greyson and Caden!!! WOW, what a breathtaking heart stopping ending..... LOVED IT!!! For me, the Edge Series is the MUST READ SERIES of the year!!!!!

What a thrilling conclusion to this epic series! Wow. Just wow. I can't believe this was it, the last book in the series. We've reached the end of the line in Caden and Greyson's story. I'm sad about that but at the same time, I don't think I could have handled much more of what these two go through in order to be together. Just thinking back on what Caden and Greyson have done so far that shows their intense and immense love for each other, I was scared to read what more they would be going through. After what Greyson did at the end of Broken Edge, I was bracing for impact when we found out what effect that shot was going to have on her. CD takes us on a supremely complex ride of trying to figure out what exactly makes someone's mind do what it does to protect it's owner from total insanity, from spiraling into an abyss you can't return from. Caden and Greyson both have events in their past that need to be unearthed and addressed, and I haven't figured out if the dealings with the Blackthorne group made things worse, or actually moved them in a direction towards resolution. I have to say I was shocked at the twist involving Ronin this go around. Did not see that coming at all. Super, super happy with the outcome of this final book. I held my breath all the way to the final page. There were so many unpredictable things that happened all the way through that I didn't want to get my hopes up too high before I actually closed the book. And when I did close it, I had a huge smile on my face. My head is still spinning at everything CD wove throughout this series. This is the type of series that I will still be thinking about months and years later when something happens that reminds me of Caden and Greyson. I know I say this a lot, probably about every book CD writes, but I am just in awe at the depth and complexity of her stories. I don't know how or where she comes up with her ideas, storylines, themes for her books, but I hope and pray she just keeps doing it. She's an automatic go to author for me, and I feel happy and privileged that I've discovered her.

I thought I was prepared for the conclusion to Greyson and Caden’s story… I thought I could handle one last go around dealing with split personalities, lost memories, and the extreme lengths that would need to be taken to ensure that love conquered all. I thought that once Caden found his way back to himself and to his wife regardless of what had happened in the past, that the only direction they would head would be forward. But that’s not how things went…that’s not the path that Greyson and Caden could travel because there were pivotal moments from the past that still needed to be dealt with…that still needed to be The fact that Greyson endured what she did with Caden illustrates just how grounded her mental state was and that her love for him is what kept her going…what guided her to make choices that could possibly do more harm than help, but there was no other course of action that Greyson would take because Caden was hers to protect, to love, to bring back from the edge. But now that Greyson has gone over the edge, it’s Caden’s turn to step up…to do whatever it takes to hold onto his wife…his soulmate…the woman who owns him body and soul, and because they’ve both now been roughed up, on the edge, broken by the edge, and brought to the edge, there’s only one way for them to go in order to move forward, to piece together the fractures they’ve endured and be made whole by each other’s vow to love, to honor, and to cherish until death do them part, and while they’ve definitely walked to that edge and sacrificed their minds and their bodies, they’ve never willingly given up, and that’s what’s most noted throughout the course of this entire mind boggling series. 4.5 Poison Apples (The Fairest of All Book Reviews)

This review is by far the most difficult I've had to write. This entire series is far above my reader scale, so I hope I don't fall short in my attempt to analyse it.  The story is so large and so loaded, it has its own trajectory. Like a meteor hurtling towards the earth, the inevitable annihilation approaching, i could feel the crisis building up, climax almost writhin reach and yet I didn't know how it would end, the continuous mystery kept the danger alive and pulsating. it's heavily pregnant with fatigue and stress that the military personnel go through on a daily basis, the root cause of PTSD. This up, close and personal view is scary and dreadful and substantiates the immediate need to end the fruitless wars all over the world. The aftermath in losses and damages are just not worth it. “If you took my arms and legs away, I’d know who I was.  Take my eyes, my ears, I’d still be me. But my sanity?” “Who am I?”  Brain is merely 2% of total body weight, but the most complex and still uncharted and understudied organ of the human body. I can almost visualise christine with a magnifying glass, studying her subject matters' brains with a forceps in hand, looking in folds and crevices, pulling out threads of thoughts from their minds. She certainly has the ability to analyze and scrutinise shreds of emotions lying hidden in the nooks and crannies of the personality which could easily be overlooked by a simpler author, yet Christine's professional eyes catch them.  She was out of her mind. Free of sound judgment. Listening to voices that wanted her to act without thinking. The difference between us was that for the moment, I was sane.  Are you? Are we? Are any of us? Greyson has volunteered to be in clear and present danger at the end of book 3, the repercussions can be felt in this book. Threat is looming large like a sandstorm in this final chapter of the series. The sentiments are running amok, Greyson is edgy and shifty. Caden is feeling helpless and incapable. His lack of knowledge puts him on a back foot of competence, so confidence is his only tool to fight against this invisible enemy threatening to explode in Greyson's body and ultimately destroying their marriage. My ignorance without confidence would break me.  Confidence without knowledge of my ignorance would break her.  Caden's love for her is unparalleled and indisputable. That's a given, but that also brings more responsibility and onus on him to protect her, not let go of her hand as she could be lost forever in the military experimental paperwork. I loved Caden and his dogged loyalty and sum total love that had him following Grayson over the edge of sanity, metaphorically and physically. “You’re the one indisputable thing in my life.” “The only thing I live for. It’s you, baby. You’re gravity. You’re the sky. You’re the air. You’re the first breath in the morning and my dreams at night. I’m sure of you because you’re mine.”  Oh to be the object of such a devotion!! You could climb mountains, fall from the sky, cross deserts, fight the demons wearing the kevlar of such all encompassing love. Caden holds her hand all the way into the darkness to pull her back into the light. I wish I could be Greyson for this book, even at the cost of losing my mind “Who is it then? Because this is the real me. The other one is a shadow of me. Maybe a subset of things I haven’t done. Or have done. Or the bits I don’t like… or traits I don’t use… the waste all bundled up and shoved into the

Wow!! What can I say about this series without saying too much. I admit that I don’t like to read a series with cliffhangers in each book, so I wait until they’re all available before I start reading them. I can honestly say that I don’t think I could have handled reading this series straight through. What is normally an agonizing time waiting, was actually time to breathe and digest between books. This series takes many twists and turns one would never expect, except it’s CD Reiss, so it shouldn’t be a surprise. She’s the Goddess of Mind *ucks! There were a lot of feels throughout this series, many of which surprised me. CD Reiss always delivers great stories, but she makes you use your brain and give her books your total attention. Well done, Christine. Well done.

Wow! What a spectacular end to an all consuming series! I loved the way the author weaved Caden and Greyson's tale. The series title really is appropriate because it had me on edge the whole way through. I had no idea what was happening at first. Then when things started to click in place, I still didn't know what was going to happen or how far the author was going to take these two. I don't think I've ever read a book so fast because I just needed to know how it all ended. This is one of those series that you just need to dive into. Trying to explain anything will take away from finding out on your own. It's dark, edgy, and a totally mind trip but it's trip you will want to take! ARC provided by author.

This is the final book of the series. You have to read the entire series in order. This is the final piece in Caden and Greyson’s saga. This series is mind boggling. Super sexy and intricately plotted. Each book builds on the previous. The story is seamless and the ending is spectacular. You have to read it to believe this level of writing genius is possible.
