"The newborn is breathless!" declares the lead surgeon. "It's the case of asphyxia," says the aide. Determined not to put to waste the grueling 1 hour and 15 minutes C-section, the medical team scrambled to breathe new life into the infant's flabby body. The exercise was futile after several tries. On the verge of declaring the newborn clinical death, the baby whimpers. "How did it happen. It's a miracle!" everybody shouts in jubilation.
The parents named him, Benjamin. In Hebrew, his name means the "son of the right hand."
