Pagan Saints

Pagan Saints is an eclectic CD from Flesh & Bone. Peter Kater, Chris White, and David Darling are Flesh & Bone. Tony Levin is guest bassist. This disc is a strange mix of world fusion and new age music. The sound design is offbeat; the instrumentation is, at times, dissonant and frantic. The smooth vocals cast an eerie glow on the proceedings. Darling's cello adds a damp pallor. This disc is going in several directions at once. It is completely out of character for this cast of musicians. The avant-garde textures enhance the listening experience.

Flesh and Bone has created an experience of haunting beauty with their gracefully conceived and produced album *Pagan Saints*. Layered textures of lyric, strings, drum, voice, piano and guitar weave a lyrical soundscape that evokes the depth of unspoken longing, spiritual ache and solace. This music is so much more than the average new age music rambling...*Pagan Saints* is a complex journey of discovery, heart and soul, reverent yet bittersweet. It deepens with each listening. *Bright Blessings!*
