Raver and Briarwood hunt for Castillo's true identity as more killings with a distinctively different yet similar signature occur. As they attempt to flesh out the background of Castillo's former partner, a rift forms. Is the killer in the fresh crime scenes Castillo, or has he developed a cult following that resulted in a copycat? As Raver and Briarwood investigate, the answer becomes clear.

The second in this series. This book was just as thrilling as the first. Ends with a cliff hanger and makes you want to read book 3 in this series. Once again, this book contained lots of violence, foul language and graphic murder descriptions. Not for the young reader or those easily ofended. Great characters and good plot line. Keeps you on your toes. A story that needs your full attention in order to keep track of all that is going on. Questions to some of the mysteries are answered in this story. Some are not. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Another excellent story by this writer in the second in the series of a detective and an FBI agent who search for a murderer for hire. The investigation is thwarted by a copycat killer who has sent them off in a different direction as the real killer, Castillo, mocks their inefficiency in capturing him. I highly recommend this series to all mystery readers.
