although the first edition of the Lonely Planet Panama was absolutely great, the subsequent editions are just a rehash of the first, and very little efforts has gone into actually checking the listings. Many do not exist anymore or have changed hands and are not remotely as originally reviewed. Worse yet many newer places (last 3-4 years) and great little out of the way places are not listed. Matt needs to get out of the party hostels and actually travel a bit to give his readers new info.
