I have purchased many books on France through the years and have enjoyed most. But this is my absolute favorite. It's well written--takes you place to place in a way that makes you look forward to the next landmark discussed. The pictures are fabulous. I have a list of what I want to see just from reading this book. I look forward to reading it again after we get back from our first trip to what I know will be my favorite city.

I found this book very informative and interesting. I read it after a few trips to Paris and recognised many places I visited but also some that I had not discovered. It is a good guide for tourists that is both a visual and printed media.
