Abby's eyes widened, taking another sip of her drink. Oh my gosh, is he flirting with me? she thought, feeling completely flustered. As the realization came over her, something stirred inside of her.
"You'll have to be a little clearer," she said. She was leaning on the kitchen counter, and he stepped closer to her, their shoulders brushing against each other.
"The bathroom," he murmured, into her ear. "Let's go have a little fun."
Abby looked up at him in shock, searching his face to see if he was joking. He still had a small, soft smile on his face and he had gotten so close to her that she could see the small splash of freckles across his nose. She couldn't quite place the look on his face, but she did know that he was unbelievably hot. She sputtered out a laugh, not knowing how to respond. Her heart was pounding so hard she could hear it in her ears. Something like this had never happened to her.
"You can't be serious," she said in a hush.
"I'm perfectly serious," he said.
Abby's mind was spinning and a shiver of electricity ran down her spine. "I can't just walk into the bathroom with you. People will see us."
Brett scoffed. "Not if we're quick," he said. He looked at this watch. "Ten minutes. Fifteen tops. Let's go."
