If you're looking for thrills, go to a movie. But there's a reason Agatha Christie detective classics are immortal: She does not disappoint. Her timing is perfect. A worldly diplomat hands his passport to an unassuming stranger and the oddyssy begins. The detective enters at precisely the right moment and gathers clues methodically, Christie style. I've read every Agatha Christie on the market and rate this one as The Ultimate in suspense.

One of the worst novels I've ever read by an aclaimed writer. It was a struggle getting to the end, but a relief.

I've read over 20 Agatha Christie novels and an equal number of short stories and this is one of the worst, You get started with two wonderful persons and then they disappear, never to be seen again. And, in addition, it was pretty stupid at the end.
