M. J. Felice is fascinated by people, their motivations, and their interactions, which have combined to invent imaginative and complex tales since her youth. After decades of weaving stories in her head, she has put pen to paper in this sophisticated and compelling debut novel, Passion and Principle, a historical romance written in sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
A retired teacher, Felice is a wife, mother, and author with an innovative spirit dedicated to "getting it right" and a sensitivity devoted to detail. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she has taught English, German, and social studies in addition to pursuing her passion for creative design, including home interiors, jewelry, fashion, and of course, stories. She lives in Richmond, Virginia.
Each of the five books in M. J. Felice's "Heart of Pemberley" series is presented ála Austen "in three volumes," i.e. each book is divided into three parts. Book One "in three volumes" is Passion and Principle. Book Two of the series, Presumption and Paradox, is presently in the works.
