About the Author

Kristin Harte started off as a chemistry major in college but somehow ended up writing romances featuring ex-military heroes and the women who knock them to their knees…literally and figuratively. She likes drinking in the shade, snuggling under a warm blanket on a cold evening, and researching how to blow things up. Her children know nothing of what she writes, and her husband just hopes he’s not at their Chicago-ish home the day the government shows up to confront Kristin about her Google search history.

When not writing good men doing bad things, Kristin can be found writing paranormal romance as Ellis Leigh or co-writing naughty novellas as London Hale.

This was an ok read but I personallydid not care for all the explicit sex talk.

## Loved this little gem of a book. My only complaint was the abrupt ending. Don't get me wrong, the romance came to a conclusion with a HFN ending (including an epilogue), but the crime-drama involving the MC club ended in a cliffhanger. Other than that, I enjoyed the heck out of this book. I love that Alder was so protective and possessive. And man, can this guy dirty talk. The connection these two had was crazy hot. I loved the camaraderie between the brothers as well. They had each others backs anytime it was needed. I can't wait for Gage's book in May. To say he was intense would be an understatement. P.S. No cheating, no sex with others, no dead wife, no secret baby, and no manwhore. Nice!

Loved that he was an alpha but that this wasn't a nook with an mc hero. It was a nice change of pace to have an hero that was former military but not In an mc

The story line is very engrossing and has good characters. Debated reading the others in the series but wasnt interested in the repetitive sex scenes. CB

I enjoyed what there was of the book. The storyline with the main characters was good and held my attention but it ended without all the storylines completing. I didn't enjoy that at all. I would like to have known what happened with her brother and the MC club.

Story line was interesting and action packed but the smut was just too much. Way too much emphasis on sex and lewd acts and not enough on articulate writing and story. I deleted book before even finishing.
