About the Author
Chuck Aldridge was born in southern New Jersey, moved to Florida at the age of nine weeks and grew up in Miami. Chuck attended Mars Hill College and Western Carolina University in North Carolina culminating in a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. His entire career was spent in the field of education until his retirement in 2011. An avid outdoorsman, trail runner, and reader, Chuck's 2011 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail became the catalyst that allowed him to combine his interests through the writing of Peace, Love, and Confessions from the Appalachian Trail. Chuck currently lives in western North Carolina and cherishes time spent with his grandchildren.
