About the Author
Erin Lawler Patterson attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies. She holds a Masters in Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University. Since 2004, she has worked as the Substance Awareness Coordinator (SAC) in a Southern New Jersey high school. Prior to her work she spent time in the Pacific and Europe trekking and learning some of her greatest life lessons. When she isn't working with kids she's hanging with her family or getting her feet sandy with beach life.
