Peaceful Living provides a new way to look at situations that empowers people to make life affirming connections with others. Mary MacKenzie is a trainer in Marshall Rosenberg's theory of Nonviolent Communication. She uses her knowledge in crafting a meditation manual that gives concise advice and unique ways at looking at conflict. For those who are familiar with Rosenberg's work, it provides a great review that can be looked at in a short time. For those unfamiliar with his books, it will spur an interest to look further. This manual is both uplifting, as well as practical. There is a saying from a person of wisdom, a short article, and then a direction for the day, for each day of the year. It is a book I will reread many times.

this book was actually given to my boyfriend as a gift and i got tired of it lying around so i started reading it. I love it! I love the quotes from so many different people and Ms Mackenzie gets right to the issue at hand- Myself! I have read a lot of meditation books and this one has an approach that works for me with all the examples to support what is being described.
