Freya is in her first year at university when suddenly her funeral directing father almost dies from eating a pecan pie. With a drunken mother and a coma-ridden father, it's now up to Freya to run the funeral parlour without totally cocking the whole thing up. This dark comedy explores alcoholism in parents, stroppy university students and the importance of not eating pecan pie when you have a nut allergy.
Please note this book will not help you make a Pecan Pie but it will make you laugh.

About the Author
It was during University when I was on my own getting drunk while watching Absolutely Fabulous that I realised I wanted to work in comedy. For three years I wrote and performed stand up comedy in and around London. Over 150 stand up gigs and one quite disastrous Edinburgh Fringe show later I finally realised that performing stand up wasn’t for me. So I decided to become a writer.
