About the Author

Jenny Drastura has been involved with dogs since 1984 and is very involved in rescue, particularly adoption and transport. She has been a member of the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) since 1988 and a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. As a freelance writer, Jenny has contributed articles to Dog World and The AKC Gazette, as well as numerous breed publications. Jenny has a master of arts degree in journalism and has been with Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, in various writing capacities for the past 20 years. She lives in Huntington, West Virginia.
