Pepe on the Champs Elysees
Little Lisette Seguin and her petit (little) Pekingese, Pépé, live in Paris with their family. Lisette and Pépé are great friends and love each other very much. They have even learned to "sign" with each other, so that they can "talk," since Lisette may not be able to hear as well when she gets older. One day when they go out to the ice cream truck to buy a little treat, Pépé climbs into the truck to lick ice cream off of the floor. He ends up riding through the streets of Paris, with Lisette, Papa, and her brother Raoul trying to catch up with him to bring him back home. It's no surprise that Pépé gets into trouble, but it is a surprise of where he ends up, and just who saves PÉPÉ ON THE CHAMPS ÉLYSÉE!.
