I lie to survive.

Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.

Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.

I kill for a living.

Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I've played her game for far too long, but not anymore. Now I think it's time we play mine.

I don’t normally comment on covers, but sweet baby Jesus that man is hot. I have lusted after that man since the first time I saw one of his pics on Facebook and I had no problem envisioning him as Deck the entire time I read. Now that I have that out of the way, Perfect Chaos was a perfectly timed read for me. I enjoy a good romantic suspense, but Ms. Rose managed to ramp up the suspense to a level I hadn’t realized I was missing. This made for one seriously intense read that kept me guessing the entire time and truth be told, I’m still in the dark about several things but that’s the mark of a great romantic suspense series – it leaves you with more questions than answers so that you are compelled to read the next book. The Prologue had me in tears. Having to witness Georgie’s emotional pain upon learning that her brother was dead was devastating. Unfortunately as the book unfolds we learn that that scene was just the beginning of her downward spiral and I found myself quickly sucked into her story. I devoured this book because I knew Georgie was hiding something, I could not figure out what it was and I just had to know. When her secret was finally revealed, that was not even on my radar. Just about the time I thought I had a handle on what was going on … BAM! another twist or another betrayal was revealed. What was not a surprise was the sexual intensity Georgie and Deck had. Although it took her ten years before she finally convinced Deck to ignore the promise he made to her brother, Georgie finally got her man … again and again and again … you get the idea. Even better than the scorching sex was the love they had for one another and how each was willing to sacrifice in order to protect the other.  Although the Unyielding series is a spin-off from the Ms. Rose’s Tear Asunder series, you do not have to have read the Tear Asunder books first. I haven’t read that entire series and while the characters make appearances in this book, they are friends of Georgie’s and not pivotal to the storyline. Perfect Chaos has the Unyielding series off to a great start and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series because I am dying to learn more about Kai.  I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.  Reviewed by Angela at Crystal's Many Reviewers!

I never leave reviews... this book could have been good if the author didnt jump all over the place. Poorly written.

I think it would have been extremely helpful to have read the tears asunder series first, they often refer to characters or events that happened in that series leaving me with a feeling of having holes in this book that i would have preferred filled prior to starting this book. All that aside, it is a good action packed book with incredible characters and hot steamy love scenes, cant wait to move on to kai's story after i backtrack and read the tears asunder series.

Had to skip thru the ridiculous amount of sex scenes. Pages would have been better spent delving into the characters.

This book was a great read. It was so emotional for me. Georgie loses her brother right at the beginning of the book. Then Deck leaves and doesn’t come back for two years. She has always loved Deck however he is always adamant that nothing will ever happen between them. Georgie has a secret part of her life that Deck knows nothing about and if he found out bad things would happen both to him and to her. Deck has been in love with Georgie for a long time as well however he promised her brother nothing would happen between them and he never breaks his word. However it’s getting harder to fight for his feelings for Georgie and to remember why he ever made that promise. Deck has no idea what happened to Georgie while he was gone for those two years. Georgie was completely changed in those years but Deck was what got her through it all. She is beginning to wonder if she should just give up on anything happening with him. Deck has some secrets of his own but he is realizing that he is going to have to let Georgie in on some of those secrets as they involve her now. Then everything comes to a head. Georgie has been pretending to get drunk as a cover then she takes it too far and winds up getting admitted to the hospital. This changes everything for Deck. The fact that he could have lost her pushes everything else out of the way. He is going to get Georgie and claim her as his; then he is going to uncover all her secrets as well as share his. Everything is connected in this book and they are about to find out just how much trouble everyone is in. Will Deck be able to protect Georgie? I loved this book and was completely pulled in by the characters and the plot. Georgie is keeping everything a secret for fear of what will happen to Deck if he finds out. Deck is only worried about protecting Georgie at all costs. Once Georgie agrees to be his he will not let anyone or anything take her from him. This book is full of twists and turns. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. This is the first book I have read by Nashoda Rose but I will be reading more by her in the future for sure. I don’t want to give too many spoilers away so I will stop here but this book is a definite must read for sure. I was given this book in return for an honest review.

Georgie and Deck have been dancing around each other for years. Georgie was tough to take throughout this book. Deck has just about had enough of her and the fact he practically has to have her locked down for fear of what she is going to do next got old. When Georgie's past actions place her in peril and cause a ripple effect, Deck finds out what really has been going on. All of her lies and omissions start to come out. When Deck lets out his biggest secret, Georgie is left to wonder what it all means. Connor plays a big role throughout this book and we still have many unanswered questions about Georgie's brother and Deck's best friend. Although Georgie was devastated by his death when she was 16, Georgie is set up for even more heartbreak when all is revealed. Deck was an alpha male throughout but his constantly threatening Georgie with the door and not coming back if she left got to be a bit much. For a couple who was supposedly in love with each other for years, they both had a lot to learn about being there for each other. Guess I'll have to read Kai and London's story to get answers to the questions that were brought up throughout this book.

You know you’re in for a roller coaster when a book opens with a dark and heartbreaking scene. It kind of sets the tone for the rest of the book and my oh my…this is a dark one, peeps! Georgie is a little bit wild. She wasn’t always this way, but when her brother Connor is killed in action it turns her whole world upside down. Now she drinks, and has had a series of one night stands. Her brothers best friend, and long suffering crush Deck is the one looking after her now, and he’s not fond of what he’s seeing. Georgie is hiding something, something big, and Deck wants to find out what that is. Will he be able to? Can he unlock the secrets of Georgie and claim her in the process? First off, this book is HOT. Georgie and Deck have some serious chemistry. I loved the buildup between them; it made this book a real page turner for me. Underlying the whole story is a big secret that Georgie is keeping to herself, and digging to the bottom of that is just as gripping as the sex! This book is written very well, in my opinion. I seriously could not put it down. The characters really come to life for the reader, and are interesting and mostly realistic. My only issue was small. It’s that Deck is supposed to be a trained ops guy, but Georgie is constantly able to elude him. I rationalize this by thinking that it must be that Deck is blinded by his feelings for Georgie. It makes him less effective in his grasp of the situation. Other than that, I thought Deck was an awesome Alpha. He was caring, yet domineering. Yummy. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I was happy to get Georgie and Deck’s story, and it was well worth the wait. Interesting and gripping, this is one you should put on your TBR. 4 stars. Oh wow. Just oh wow. So many twists and turns that you never see coming! Georgie is 16 when her brother, her best friend, dies in the Canadian "army". His best friend and leader, Deck, has promised to protect her. But Georgie changed that year and when Deck returns 2 years later after completing his enlistment, he finds a new Georgie. I am DYING to read the next book about Kia and London! I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Like: The heroine, Georgie, is a badass. This seemed like a really important pivot book between the guys of Tear Asunder and Unyielding Riot. Hoping Tristan gets his HEA too. Recommendation: Good start to a new series. Can't wait for book 2 & 3.

When I saw this book and then read part of the synopsis (I never read synopsis if I do it’s normally the first few lines, I feel like it takes away from the book. I know weirdo here) I knew it was a book I had to read. I can't tell you how glad to have followed my first thoughts on this one. Amazingly written! I was taken in and not turned loose by this book. There is so much suspense and excitement that you can't put this book down.  Georgie is a sassy take charge and not let go person. She takes and gives as good as she gets. She has a soft side that she refuse to let show. Deck on the other hand is a hard ass one that you are not going to meet in a dark alley. Once he has his mind set there is no changing it. He gets what he wants anyway he has to. They both are keeping secrets from each other, feeling they are protecting each other when it is just pulling them apart. Friends is what they keep telling themselves is all that will be between them, the attraction that is there is saying otherwise.  This one is going on my top reads this year!
