It's great the Justice was Served This book, "A Perfect Husband" tells the true story of not one, but TWO women, who were killed by "falling down the stairs". Just reading the evidence and the amount of blood that was left at the crime scene PROVES that these falls were not accidents. The author, Aphrodite Jones retells this story quite well, and gives her readers all of the information that pertains to this case. This horrifying crime will captivate readers and make them root for first degree murder charges against Michael Peterson. Very good true crime book and I highly recommend this as well as the other books written by this author.

This book was a really good read! Michael Peterson is a very evil man. He got what he deserved for what he did to Kathleen Peterson and Elizabeth Ratliff. At first he was all perfect with his wife, they were fine. Then things got bad. I could not put this book down, it was so good. It was very graphic, so if you have an easy stomach, I would not recommend it. If you enjoy a good crime mystery, this is the book for you. Someone should read this, because it shows how evil people can be, and how humans should not act. I really liked how it described everything so well, it was very descriptive. I did not like how gory it was. It grossed me out a little bit, but it was very intriguing.

I just finished reading this book about 2 days ago and I found it very interesting. I love Aphrodite Jones and have read a good deal of her books. I only have 2 books left and then she'll have to write more hehe. It is amazing just how much people 'really' love each other and how they really show it. I guess it just goes to show that no matter how long you have known someone you don't really know them.

I followed the trial on Court TV, watched the defense-biased documentary "The Staircase", and now, have read this book because I knew this author would write a concise overview of the whole tragedy. Not only did she do that, she includes information excluded from trial testimony, from behind-the-scenes, and interviews with key players. Now, ten years later, M. Peterson's conviction has been thrown out due to the Deaver/CBI malfesance, and he's been granted a new trial. It would have been a good time to include an update to this yet unfinished story! I hope Ms. Jones intends to cover the second trial...

This is a fantastic true crime book. It brings deserved justice to Kathleen and Elizabeth. It is educational because it shows you how even the poeple we know and love could possibly be sociopaths. Michael Peterson is a truly evil man.

This book was great. I watched most of the trial on Court TV but this book fills in all of the gaps that you wondered about during the trial. What a psychopath Michael Peterson is!

This book is based on real people - people who have suffered and continue to suffer due to the unscrupulous invasion of their privacy and the inadequacy of information they rely upon to condemn others. Anyone who would read this is personally disturbing the graves of all those involved.
