Absolutely loved this book! The characters where well developed, and took me on an amazing journey of discovery. I loved how we were kept in suspense right until the very end. There is nothing the Author wrote that was for nothing. She left clues like breadcrumbs for us to piece together the final outcome! I will absolutely recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to read a feel good book, that will give you hope in your darkest hour! There was Love, Mystery, Adventure, Humour and Excitement. A MUST READ FOR SURE!!

_________________________________________________________________________________________  MY REVIEW OF "PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS" by TARYN LEIGH I appreciate the way Taryn Leigh, author  of "Perfect Imperfections" weaves the details of her story. The timeline of this story is mostly in the present with a few past references that pertain to the characters or the storyline. The genres of this story are Fiction or Women's Fiction. The author describes her characters as complex and complicated. Some characters are mean-spirited. Other characters are capable of betrayal and deceitful acts. There are characters that are supportive and kind as well. Sarah Lewis leaves her home in London, after a major tragedy and betrayal, and goes to restart her life in South Africa.  She stays at her best friend's home while she struggles emotionally to put her life together, as well as her business obligations. Taryn Leigh does a fantastic job in keeping the reader in suspense about  what the tragedy and betrayals are. We know that Sarah is keeping secrets from her best friend and brother, who only want to help her. Sarah is emotionally fragile and is having nightmares. She starts to put her business together, and then is called back to London for a family emergency. Sarah finally realizes that she has to go back to the past in order to move on to the present and future. I really like the way that the author shows us that through adversity there is hope. The author describes having a support system, family, friends and love. The author also shows us good vs. evil,  loyalty vs. betrayal, forgiveness and redemption vs.  holding grudges and retribution.  Taryn Leigh shows us the growth in the characters. I would recommend this intriguing and emotionally captivating story for readers who enjoy fiction. I look forward to seeing more of these characters, and I do hope that the  author writes more about them. I received a copy of this book for my honest review.

Sarah leaves her home in London behind in a hurry, she's traumatized and heartbroken and her bad memories are giving her nightmares. She moves back to South Africa, the country of her youth, where her best friend Katy lovingly takes her in, so Sarah has a chance to heal. Together with her brother Edward, Katy makes sure Sarah can face life again. She slowly begins building a social life and restarts the business that brought her success in the past. Will Sarah find happiness in her future? When Sarah finally thinks she's free and ready to face challenges again her past catches up with her. She's forced to make a choice, will she be strong enough to handle all the difficulties that are being thrown at her? Will she become the person she's always wanted to be and can she let people in again? Is it possible for someone who loves her with all his heart to break down Sarah's walls, so she'll have a chance to discover that love can also be wonderful? Perfect Imperfections is a beautiful moving story. Sarah is struggling, she's devastated and her grief is making it difficult for her to make plans and go out. In South Africa she always felt treasured and wanted and that is exactly what she needs. Katy and Edward are wonderful people and Sarah finds out what being appreciated and loved for who she is truly means. I loved how deep and natural their connection is and enjoyed every single page I read about this amazing friendship. For me that made Perfect Imperfections really special. Taryn Leigh describes the gorgeous South African settings she's chosen for her story in a fantastic vibrant way. Her obvious love for the places she writes about is making her story shine. Perfect Imperfections is an emotional story, but it never becomes too heavy, because she makes room for the good parts of life as well as the bad and there's a great balance between the two. I loved the plot line of her book and the ending made me smile. Perfect Imperfections is a terrific endearing, charming and sweet novel that I highly recommend.

Uplifting, vivid, and poignant! Perfect Imperfections is a heartwarming tale about letting go of the past, embracing the future and discovering one’s true self after suffering heartbreak and tragedy. The writing is vivid and descriptive. The characters are strong, kind, and supportive. And the plot is an engaging, emotional tale with a side of mystery that’s full of heartache, loss, grief, betrayal, relationship dynamics, family, romance, and love. Overall, I would have to say that Perfect Imperfections is a charming, sweet, beautiful debut for Leigh that does a wonderful job of highlighting just how important and powerful friendship can truly be.
