Kristina Knight decided what she wanted to be when she grew up one cold, winter day in Missouri when she was home sick from school. She turned on the soap opera Another World and was captivated by Felicia Gallant's character. Felicia always knew what to say, had great fashion sense - you know, for the early 1990s - and a stockpile of feather boas. Kristina took a detour into radio and television journalism, worked for a non-profit, and then back to TV. She never forgot her first love of romance novels, or her favorite character from her favorite soap. One magical day in 2012 she finally got the call from an editor who wanted her book. Of course she celebrated by buying her own hot-pink boa and pretending to be Felicia, just for a couple of minutes.
Kristina is slightly addicted to Facebook and Twitter, loves the Kansas City Royals and Coca-Cola Classic. And shoes. She swears that one day she'll own a home that has enough closet space for all her shoes. In the meantime she's busy storing shoes in closets and using some as bookends.
Kristina lives in Ohio with her handsome husband and incredibly cute daughter, two dogs and a menagerie of characters in her head.
