If you're a manager who does performance reviews or you want to help a manager, buy this book! You know that managers can get hit with complaints and even lawsuits for using words that employees consider inappropriate. This book makes it easier to choose the right words: find a section that's appropriate to your situation and you'll find words and phrases to use. This book is a solid complement to two of the author's earlier books -- Motivating Employees and Building a High Morale Workplace.

This is just what I needed. You can't very well call a lazy slob a lazy slob on a performance review but now I a nice way. This book has provided me with positive ways to turn problem employees into productive, happy workers just by PROPERLY identifying their weak points. You'll never find yourself sitting there wondering how to word a performance review anymore. Just open this book and find the section that applies to your sistuation. This book makes perforemance reviews a breeze!

This book is poorly written. There were very few phrases that I would use on a performance review. I would have returned it, but I waited too long. You have 14 days from the date of purchase. I ordered online and did not open the package right away. The return policy sucks!

The book is very well written, I would like to see a more law enforcement version. I learned how to use better and more professional approaches towards documenting performance issues.
