Perfect Pitch (Found in Oblivion Series #5) by Cari Quinn, Taryn Elliott

A lead singer, a professor, and another lead singer walk into a bedroom...

Molly McIntire loves her career as the lead singer of the band Warning Sign. Who she does not love?

The cocky, seductive lead singer of The Grunge, rockstar Luc Moreau, who through a series of misfortunate events ends up singing with her.

In her band. On her stage. Together.

It's like getting naked, with a microphone between them. So is there any surprise they're tempted to hate screw each other afterward?

But someone sees them with their tempers running hot. And open-minded Professor Ethan Haywood wants them both, in every dirty, decadent way. For a night or so much more.
Except he's not the only one who's watching them—and the band. Their every move is being monitored, and when the lights go out, not everyone will still be standing.
Suddenly it's not just about falling into bed for Molly, Luc, and Ethan, but falling in love when everything they know and love is in danger.
Author's note: This book contains mènage scenes, and while the men are always focused on the woman, they also focus on each other. With and without their clothes on.
Author's note part deux: While the romantic relationship ends in a full HEA, there are ongoing events that will not be fully explained or resolved until the next book, Raw Rhythm.

Perfect Pitch is book 5 in the Found in Oblivion rockstar series. Our other rockstar series are also set in the Oblivion world.

Where to's been several days since I finished reading this for the third time. I've got some major issues with this story and it's kinda like missing a tooth, mostly the pain is gone, but your tongue keeps touching the hole inflicting more pain in a good/evil way. To start, Cari and Taryn are a one-click for me because I love their stories. They've converted me into being a rock-star fan, suit fan, and everything else they write together or separately. The story lines usually have some believable angst along with writing that flows super smooth so I feel like Christmas has come when they release a new book. Everything started out great in this book....visiting with old friends from previous books (LOVE my FIO and LIO families), building up new characters, etc. Molly has never been one of my favorite characters though I adore her sister Jazz. Had my glass of wine in hand thinking this will be fun.....two hot handsome hunks and I'll learn to like Molly more. And, yes, the storyline is awesome, the sex is smoking, and I was really enjoying everything when, wham!, Cari and Taryn started breaking my heart. I love how their characters fight through adversity and come out stronger usually with a kickass HEA. This time...deep breath....This TIME they end the freaking story on a cliffhanger/ending where my heart is broken (Molly, Ethan, and Luc are fine) because my book family is broken. If book 6 doesn't arrive soon and make it right (though I can't possibly see a way to do that), I'm taking them off my Christmas card list. Just a fair warning, be sure to have tissues nearby because you might have some ugly crying at the end........

Big applause for Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot’s, Perfect Pitch. They take a very complicated relationship, blend it with brilliant, sexy writing and leave the reader drenched in emotion. They are masters at intertwining characters, families, and friends that consume their readers. Found in Oblivion is a fantastic series that you don’t want to miss.

4.5 stars--PERFECT PITCH is the fifth installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult FOUND IN OBLIVION erotic, rock, romance series focusing on the members of the rock band Warning Sign. This is lead singer for the rock back The Grunge Luc Moreau, lead singer for Warning Sign Molly McIntire, and professor Ethan Haywood’s story line. The FOUND IN OBLIVION series is a spin off from Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. Several characters from LIO cross over including band manager Lila Shawcross and Ripper Records owner Donovan Lewis. You do not have to have read the other series to follow or understand the events of PERFECT PITCH. Perfect Pitch can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. NOTE: PERFECT PITCH contains graphic MFM and MMF sexual situations, language and text, and may not be suitable for all readers. Told from three third person perspectives (Luc, Molly, and Ethan) PERFECT PITCH follows the building relationship between Luc Moreau, lead singer for the rock back The Grunge, lead singer of Warning Sign Molly McIntire, and professor Ethan Haywood. After a series of PR nightmares for Luc Moreau, and a confrontation between Molly McIntire and Ripper Records upper management, our couple find themselves pushed together to front Warning Sign, leaving The Grunge floundering to remain a viable band. Professor Ethan Haywood’s attraction to Molly McIntire has the added bonus of their mutual attraction to Molly’s new band mate Luc Moreau but keeping their ménage relationship a secret struggles in the face of overzealous paparazzi, and Molly’s need to hide the truth from Ripper Records management. What ensues is the building romance between Molly, Ethan and Luc, as Molly and Luc battle one another for professional control. PERFECT PITCH is a sexy and sassy story line about three people who find love when they least expect it. The roller coaster of emotions is threatened by heartbreaking family history, as well as a turn of events that will leave the reader wondering what the h*ll happened and why. The ménage relationship is passionate, erotic and intense-the $ex scenes leave little to the reader’s imagination. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of the members of Warning Sign, The Grunge, as well as Lila Shawcross and Donovan Lewis. The world building continues to focus on the bands, the music, and the struggles to make it big in an industry where everyone believes they should be number one. PERFECT PITCH is also a story of slow building intrigue when a series of questionable events begin to snowball in a potentially life threatening drama aimed at the members of Warning Sign. The premise is exciting, intoxicating and heartbreaking; the characters are edgy, colorful and dynamic; the romance is seductive, provocative and hot. PERFECT PITCH ends on a cliffhanger- an agonizing and painful reminder that fame comes at a cost. Keep your tissues handy, you’re going to need them.

5 Smoking Hot Stars Whew!! I think I need a cold shower after this. Cari Quin and Taryn Elliott sure know how to give you a smoking hot rock romance. We got a glimpse of Molly in the previous books and I knew she came across as extremely tough so I wasn’t sure what would come in this book. I should have never have doubted that she would be a character that I could fall in love with. It’s great to see a tough woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to sacrifice to get it. Now for the fireworks, and oh my do we get them!! We have that hot bad boy rocker, Luc, who is blindsided by his band and the professor, Ethan. Could these two be even more different…that is minus the hot bodies these boys have. Why wouldn’t Molly love this little threesome?! There is a lot going on in this installment of the bandmates in Found in Oblivion and these authors sure know how to bring out the best and the hottest from these hard rockers we love to read about. I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.

I have loved this band from the first book in this series. I was excited for this threesome's story! Their chemistry is explosive and Ethan, Molly and Luc heat up the pages! This story is well written and I love how we get to see all of the band members a lot in this story. The story is a page turner and Ethan,Molly and Luc figure out what they are to one another. I loved how they each changed as their relationship got stronger. The ending completely took me by surprise and left me in tears. I didn't see it coming and I can't wait for the next book. There is some what of a cliffy at the end, but you do get Molly, Ethan and Luc's story wrapped up, it's more of a what's to come for this group. Great read!

Holy wow! Fans have been anticipating this MMF for a loooong time. No one knew what was going to happen, but suspected it was going to be explosive. Lawd, did Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott deliver. Perfect Pitch is definitely the writing duo’s hottest book to date. The chemistry between the three main characters is explosive. All the delicious touching is hot enough to rock worlds, which it did many times, mine included. I really enjoyed the sexy, but what I loved even more was the ease of their relationship and the affection between them. A fiery female lead singer, the male rocker more famous for his exploits than his music, and a sexy professor seem like an unlikely match, but these three fit each other perfectly. I adored all of them, especially yummy Professor Sexy. But it’s not all about the physical relationship. There’s a little bit of everything from laugh out loud humor, band drama, old friends and new characters, mystery and intrigue, and an event that will forever change the Oblivion world. Perfect Pitch sucked me in and held me spellbound. I couldn’t read fast enough, my heart literally pounded several times, and my eyes may have leaked a little bit. All the hallmarks of an exceptional story. I loved it.

When the lead singer for Warning Sign Molly McIntire overhears a conversation she wasn't supposed to, she lets anger guide her decision to take on Lila, aka Dragon Lady. Yeah, you might be thinking that doesn't end well, but when the dust settles, Molly ends up in a once-and-done that turns into a relationship. One door may have just closed for Luc Moreau, but Molly's tantrum at Ripper Records opens another door for him. They have smokin hot chemistry when they sing together, and that even translates beyond the stage into the bedroom. Ethan Haywood has been interested in Molly for some time, and when they reconnect at a wedding, he knows it's not a one time thing for him. Luc and Molly's chemistry together doesn't detract from his feelings for Molly and he senses that Luc wants something more than Molly. Their one-night threesome turns into a whole lot more when their off the charts sex ingnites some real emotions. As usual, Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot have entertained me with a rocker story that has plenty of heat and emotions. Luc, Ethan and Molly really know how to get it on (I think I lost count of O's at one point) but for me the best part of their relationship was their individual realizations that they needed each other. Loved that part of the story. Secondary to the love story is a suspense plot that is really looking like ... well, don't want to spoil, but it takes the ending of this book into a dark place, setting up for Mal's book, Raw Rhythm. Can't wait to see who is behind it all! So, overall, an entertaining, steamy rock and roll love story! If you like rockstar romance, you should definitely be reading this series! An ARC was provided for review.

Ok, Let me start of by saying you definitely need to read this whole series from the beginning in order to understand connections. This book will stand alone to a point but it is more understandable when you read the ones before it, including the Lost in Oblivion series, as some of these characters are related to those characters. With all that being said, I loved this book!! The characters chemistry from the start was off the charts! It was hot! But then there was extreme emotional turmoil as well. Molly is the lead singer of the band. We first saw her in the LIO series since she is Jazz's little sister. In previous books she always seemed stand offish to other people and like a Diva! Once you get into her head and understand where she is coming from and why she thinks the way she does, it is all perfectly understandable. It makes you like her even more. Especially once she gets together with her men. Ethan is this hot college professor that we say in Dirty Duet (West and Lauren's story). He is best friends with Lauren, although at one point he thought he wanted more than to be friend's. He definitely realized differently. He was always attracted to Molly but just thought it would be a quick thing and they would move on. Luc we saw at the end of Lost Lyric when he helped Ryan save Dallas. He was the lead singer for his band until they suddenly decided to kick him out over the publicity he was getting. Not knowing the story behind any of it, they didn't stand behind him (as they should have). Reading about how these three come together and decide to have "just one night" was beyond HOT! But then you throw in the interactions between them all and the feelings they are developing as they get to know each other? And just having them stand beside each other when they truly need it? It makes you fall in love with them! They complete each other and ALL their needs in ways you would never think about. Be prepared as there are male on male scenes as well. Some people might not like it, I thought it was HOT! Be prepared though, the ending will make you ugly cry! I am not afraid to admit, I definitely sobbed at the end! But this book was so good that I know that in the next one these author's will make us understand why what happened, happened. Great read!

If you looked at the cover or read the synopsis above you know this is a menage story. But it is a must read in the found in Oblivion series. The story between Molly, Luc and Ethan is Sexy, Steamy and hot. But it is the respect and emotions each bring to the menage that balances the story. As we learn some background on Ethan, Luc and Molly's childhoods it let us see how together they can and do fill the needs each has. This story has some twist and turns that you don't see coming, they maybe emotional to read but they make the series more intense and interesting. Wow that ending. Looking forward to the next in the series.

This is Book 5 in the "Found in Oblivion" Series and it is as wonderful as the rest of the series. I cannot put it down! So hot! I loved every second of it! I love the characters and the chemistry between them! Molly is stubborn but also very sweet. And the men are just perfect! It was a perfect read! Molly McIntire Warning is the Signs lead singer. She doesn't to get romantically involved with anybody but when she meets Professor Ethan Haywood everything changes. But then she meets lead singer Luc Moreau and she starts craving two men. Great book!

Omg this rocked out of the park! The amazing sex scenes aside (and holy crap are there some fantastic sex scenes!), the story was incredible. The emotion and drama draw you throughout the story. I love the connection between Ethan, Luc and Molly. They are a strong unit and it really looks like they will need it. The revitalization of Warning Sign is an incredible journey. It has only just begin and I can't wait for more. The band as a whole has grown and I'm thinking we are in for a wicked ride. To leave a reader raw at the end of a story. And I mean raw. I haven't felt this shredded from a story in, well, ever! Unheard of, but boy this dynamic duo just needed to change it up. I eagerly await the next in the series I sure hope they are working on it now I don't know that I have it in me to wait too long.

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott have done it again with Perfect Pitch, their newest steamy, sexy and emotional rockstar romance. They have taken a "taboo" subject and elevated it into a stunningly beautiful story that will wow readers and leave them blown away. The story is not only M/F/M but also M/M and M/M/F and it is super HOT! Quinn and Elliott seriously know how to write a menage romance! The story will leave readers panting at Ethan, Molly and Luc's chemistry. It is seriously incendiary! But this love story is also one that explores self-acceptance and everyone's struggle to fit in and find their place in the world. It's about finding the one(s) who complete you, the one(s) who you cannot live without. Heat factor aside, Perfect Pitch is a rollercoaster of emotions as Molly and Luc struggle with their professional careers. There's laughs aplenty as the gang from Warning Sign works on their next album but there's also some suspense and, in the end, a curve ball that readers will be left reeling from. The ending is a complete shock and readers should be prepared to be completely gutted. Quinn and Elliott left me questioning so much and left me desperate to get my hands on Raw Rhythm immediately! Alas, I have to wait a bit but it was the perfect set up leading into their next book. Perfect Pitch is one of those stories that will grab you from the start and keep you invested throughout. I couldn't put it down and loved every second of it! It's told from multiple POV's and readers will adore getting inside Ethan, Molly and Luc's minds. Perfect Pitch can be read as a standalone story but personally, I recommend reading the entire Found in Oblivion series first. However, I truly recommend going a step further and reading Quinn and Elliott's Lost in Oblivion series first since you will get the backstory of many of the characters and their family which makes the reading experience even better. But seriously, if you are just jumping into the series here for the first time, it's completely doable! Just be forewarned that you will definitely want to go back and read the others after reading Perfect Pitch!!!

***** 5 PERFECTLY PITCHED STARS ***** Pitch Perfect – Found in Oblivion Series Book 5 by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot – 5 Stars “A lead singer, a professor, and another lead singer walk into a bedroom...” This is the tagline that grabbed me from the very beginning. While Pitch Perfect can be read as a stand-alone (it’s full of steamy sex, smoking hot humans, finding your authentic self, and mixing family of origin with family of choice) I would recommend that you read the other books in the Found in Oblivion Series first – Heck, why not go all the way back to the beginning and start with the Lost in Oblivion Series. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot write intersecting series that all have fantastic rock bands, amazing music, and some great relationships. If you enjoy reading about a budding polyamorous M/M/F relationship, you will absolutely fall in love with Pitch Perfect. These characters are well developed; Molly is the lead singer of Warning Sign, Ethan is a professor of Mythological History, and Luc is the lead singer of The Grunge. As individuals they each have passions and compassion that grow stronger as a unit even though self-doubts may creep in. From the first page to the very last I was completely invested in this story. I read it in one sitting because I just could not put it down. This story made me laugh (OMG, can we talk about Ethan’s parents??), cry, sigh, caused me to give my husband that tell-tale wink that lets him know I’m reading a sexy part and made me grateful that I am also part of a loving, accepting family where all are welcome and nurtured. I absolutely recommend this book, this series and these authors.

Perfect with a cliff hanger Wow. This is one of the best books in this series. I love this series because you get glimpses of some of the characters from oblivion and then we always get to keep up with all of the different people from warning sign. Ethan, Molly and now Luc are great and their relationship wow. The intrigue and about what's going on. The new band dynamic is great. The ending of this book and now the set up for Raw Rhythm I cannot wait. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott has another hit.
