This two-disc package consists of an EP that includes six separate mixes of Blank & Jones
' Top Ten European hit "Perfect Silence," featuring vocalist Bobo, along with a DVD that offers two versions of the music video for that song (the two versions differ only in the amount of female nudity shown; the tamer version is labeled as the "Day Version," and the more explicit as the "Night Version"). The video is, believe it or not, kind of boring, and the song itself is perfectly pleasant but not necessarily substantive enough to stand up to six long remixes. Of those mixes, though, the most enjoyable is the Perry O'Neil version, the longest (at almost nine minutes) and yet the least tiresome of the six, and the next best is Martin Roth
's "St. Kilda 5 PM Remix." Steer clear of the utilitarian but interminable "Club Mix." Willie Bobo's a fine singer and does a good job of investing emotive interest in the song's modest melody.
