I was selected to be a part of this review team for Catherine Anderson's new book, therefore I received it early. This book, like the rest of her books, captivated me from the beginning sentence. It took me on a fabulous journey in the life of Quincy. She has outdone herself again, with new twists and turns, showing what a remarkable talent she has as an author to draw you into this story and keep you there throughout the entire book! There is not a dry moment to be had throughout the story!

Perfect Timing was such a captivating read I was reading while preparing dinner! I just could not put this one down. I laughed, I cried and I laughed some more. This book has it all, romance, friendship, family and more. So do yourself a favor, if you buy only one book this month make it this one. This is Catherine Anderson at her absolute best!

At first I didn’t want to read this book simply because this is the last of the Harrigan’s and I really don’t want it to end. I have read all of her books and can honestly say that Perfect Timing is not one of my favorites, simply because of the time travel. However; time travel aside, Perfect Timing made me laugh, cry and laugh some more. It may not be one of my favorites, but it is not even close to being on my worst reads ever list. I did like the way the author took modern day conveniences that we take for granted and make them foreign and confusing to Ceara. Items such as an electric stove versus a wood burning stove, running water, electricity and “the little box” called a phone. I loved to read of the “Hen parties” since me and the women in my family have been having these for some time now. We were just never smart enough to name it. However, in all of the time that the women in my family have had these parties, we never talked about sex to that extent. There is just something about having that conversation with your mother, step-mother or mother-in-law in the room. One thing is for certain, I can’t wait to read her next creation. I hope that it is another family that I can spend the next thirteen years getting to know. (“Baby Love” is the first in the series, released in October 1999)

I was given the wonderful opportunity to read this book, and offer a review (good or bad...), and am delighted to have been able to Thank Ms. Anderson for one of the best books I have read in years. Catherine Anderson has been an autobuy for me for as many years as she has been writing. I can only remember a few times in my life that I have sobbed harder than I did at the end of her book "Simply Love", or related to a female character like I did with Charlotte, in the anthology Tall Dark and Dangerous (her short story is called Shotgun Bride), and if you have ever battled being heavier than the norm...PLEASE go find a used copy. The feelings are so perfectly written, that your chest hurts while you read. THERAPY! You laugh..you cry..you sigh..you fall in love, and you get to live...at least for a little while...in a world where good things happen to good people, and life always gets a happy ending. Perfect Timing is the perfect name for this book. The story is so interwoven with the earlier Coulter/Harrigan books, that as it progresses, you can feel the AhHa moments... when something from another story meshes with this one at exactly the right moment to answer all the questions, and wrap up the series. You find yourself FINALLY understanding why Quincy is so uptight, and you delight in watching him let go a lot of baggage he carried in previous books. Ladies.....he gets his comeuppance!! Ceara is everything that Quincy needs, but never realized he needed. She makes you giggle...breaks your heart with her courage...you delight in watching her learn (no spoilers, but she's got a pretty big learning curve!)...and by the end of the book, you can't imagine anyone loving Quincy more than she does. It's a fast moving book, that grabs you on page one, and refuses to let you go right through to the end! Ms. Anderson...my hat's off to you...I believe this is your best work to date. It was a privledge being able to review this for you. Thank you!

I was lucky enough to be on the review team for this book!  Catherine Anderson is one of the few authors that I will buy her newest book without reading the cover. I've never been disappointed in her stories and often wish I could stay with the characters longer.  This book was no exception.  The best thing about Anderson's books, in my opinion, is her characters are never the cookie cutter perfect couple.   I hate when the review gives away all the details of a book, so I'm not going to do that.  I will just say there is a lot of the supernatural and paranormal in this book, which is a little out of the ordinary for Anderson to make it such a big part of the book, but all of the elements work together to make a very interesting story.  There is a lot more sex talk in this story than typical Anderson books but a lot less than other authors in the same genre and fits into the story line.  The other Harrigan's are present in the story and the "hens" sound like a group I'd love to be a part of.  I rarely laugh out loud and cry within the same book, but this was an emotional roller coaster.

LOVED LOVED LOVED it!  I was so excited to see this latest in the Harrigan series, because I just loved Quincy and couldn't wait to see what his story would be about.  I never dreamed it would involved a beautiful woman from another time!  She was just what the doctor ordered to fill his lonely heart and save the women of the Harrigan family!   I give this story 5 stars!

I received an advanced copy of Perfect Timing by Catherine Anderson.  She has just penned her best book yet.  A rare Treat that I've never experienced before, comical, enchanting, Heartwarming, romantic, sexy, and dramatic.  Rarely does  An author cover so many emotions in one book, but Anderson Has succeeded.

I was so excited to be given the opportunity to review this book.  I have been following Catherine Anderson's books since she began the  Harrigan/Coulter saga with "Baby Love" and I felt like I was returning to visit  Old friends as I picked up this book. From the first page to the last I was captivated by he story.  I laughed (just wait until you get to the hen party!) and cried as I felt Clint's  anguish.  I would highly recommend this book. The only thing I didn't like is I  felt it was the end of an era.

As a long term Andersen reader and fan, I enjoyed this last book about the Harrigan family.  No word of the plot, too good to ruin, but we all know this family and their strengths and love for each other.  Romance guaranteed, happy ending almost always, but in the middle is a lot of turns and curves that we can all identify with in our daily lives.  She is not only  a great author who can manage the relationships of folks under stress, but manage to make her characters look like the sterling characters we all want to be at difficult times.  The Irish brogue was not difficult as that is my family, but it could take some folks into a bit of confusion.  One concern:  no ear boxing permitted and none done.  Wonderful book Catherine, much success.

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of the book and it was amazing. I have seen reviews on some of her other books where people have said that she was putting out the same "cookie cutter" story. Well let me tell you this one is not like any of her other books. It was hard to put down and I really enjoyed the story. Pick it up you will not be disappointed.

I. LOVE! Catherine Anderson. I have for years ever since I found a copy of 'Keegan's Lady'. Since then I've read everything she's written. Her stories suck you in at the very beginning and her characters instantly find their way into your heart. They make you laugh, they make you cry, they leave you happy and content. I was fortunate enough to get an advanced copy of 'Perfect Timing' and let me tell you, it's no different. From the moment you start, you're sucked in and find yourself turning page after page after page to find out what happens. I won't go into detail on the book -- I don't like spoilers and I don't want to spoil this one for anyone. I will say at first I was a little disappointed. 'Perfect Timing' is different than anything Catherine's written before. However, once I let myself go, it was a non-stop read for me -- as her books always are. Lately I've had a hard time sticking with a book -- I'll get bored, put it down and come back to it off and on. NOT with this one. It's a wonderful story that will keep you, the reader, glued to the pages. Catherine has yet another winner with 'Perfect Timing' -- I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I received an early copy of this book as part of Catherine's review team with my promise to give an honest review. I absolutely LOVED this book. I couldn't put it down by page 4 and read it very quickly. I laughed and cried during Perfect Timing. Quincy is an amazing addition to this series. I was sad to see this book come to an end! Ceara is as strong as any of the other women that Catherine Anderson has brought to life, and she definitely keeps her hero on his toes. If you have not read anything by this author before, you are missing out! She has the ability to bring you into the story and keep you there until the very last word. Ceara's interactions with her friends that are affectionately called "the hens", Quincy's kitchen appliances, and other modern day technology, will leave you in stitches. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. It is definitely on my list of books that I will read again.

I received this book as part of Catherine's review team - Catherine Anderson's Perfect Timing was an AMAZING book!  This book is a modern day romance with an odd twist!  Quincy finds his true love in the most unexpected way possible...Ceara a woman from the 1500's!!  Ceara travels through time to marry the last son in a family that was cursed long ago...what neither of them expected was the connection and happily ever after they would find.  Quincy had his work cut out for him with Ceara though teaching and explaining 21st century inventions!  My one suggestion is at first be near a computer or smartphone because some of Ceara's terms are a little confusing...but once you get the hang of her old Irish terms and how she speaks in general - you are good to go!! This is one book you don't want to miss!

Catherine Anderson is an expert on putting emotions on paper. This a heart warming story of Quincy, the last single brother of the Harrigan family. Forced by his loyalty to his brother, he marries a redheaded vixen who appeared in the stall of his favorite horse. The story has everything, love, intrigue, sadness and even magic. Catherine makes you laugh and cry and most of all sorry when you get to the end. You wish it could on and on. It's no wonder Catherine Anderson is one of my favorite authors. The copy of the book I read was an advance readers copy. Now I have even longer to wait for the next adventure. I wish I could look over Catherine's shoulder as she works at her keyboard.

Ugh.  I didn't like it at all.  The writing was disjointed - I felt like it was three bad books stuck  together.  It was so raunchy I could hardly get through it.  So very disappointed.

I usually like Catherine Anderson's mix of nature and a little eeriness but this book went too far mixing God given talents with supernatural. It was more of witches meet sci-fi. Not for me.

Wow...Wow...Wow...I truly loved Perfect Timing. It is the best of both worlds, Modern day Romance with a touch of days gone by. This is a beautiful love story of two people who were thrown together in perfect timing to create a wonderful miracle and life together. As always I can not wait until Catherine's next book is released!!! I am honored to be one of the few that were chosen to receive the advance copy of your book! Thank You Catherine for such a beautiful read <3

I read everything by Catherine Anderson and was excited to receive an advance copy of this book to review. However, when I started reading this book, I found it very difficult to get through. The stroyline was so far-fetched it was laughable, and the obsession with sex was unbearable. But, since the two main characters are from two completely different centuries, there probably isn't much they have in common except an interest in sex. The characters were "devout Catholics" but it actually made a joke of the Catholic faith by suggesting it is ok to be a clairvoyant, ok to use birth control, and ok to use sex toys. This is not one of Catherine Anderson's better books, and it is not recommended.

This was my least favorite Catherine Anderson book. I scanned the last 100 pages- it just didn't hold my interest . Most situations centered around a lot of casual and not so casual drinking.
